Picked up these two Autoart GT3 Cup cars despite my no race car rule in my collection, because I needed two boxes for other 997s I have without boxes.

Bonus picture, all my Autoart 911s. One day I hope to display them all rather than keep them in boxes covered under a sheet!

You don't really have to hope for it. Just switch your priorities to acquiring cases over models for the time being.

Finally managed to get the 911 GT1 Street (Minichamps).

Nice! That one isn't easy to find I hear. Did you find this one on eBay?

I've been looking for one for at least 3 years if not more, and one finally turned up at my local models trade shop here in France. Quite pleased to find one there since it was only released for Japan.

There is also one on eBay at the moment for pretty much the same price I paid this one.

It's more of a space issue for me and that I live in an apartment I don't plan on staying in long term. But I have definitely considered getting a cabinet or something, still.

280USD 200 made. 1/43

Looks hella cheesy, but I'm a sucker for decals.

Looking at sold FuelMe model prices, selling and sold on eBay, this could potentially not rise in value a whole lot.

The Fighter Zero green LB Aventador was limited to 60 pieces, retailed at 246USD and sold at about 280.

What are your thoughts on the model itself? Is FuelMe a brand that thrives off its name or its quality?

Well I always have room next to my black cup car... :sly: Your collection is getting epic proportions, you also have a multiple 991's right? What's the counter saying? :D

I have convinced myself I need more than collecting Porsches only. More specifically I want some epic supercars so I can show them with my Porsche 918. Full in doubt but without regrets (as of yet) I have bought a McLaren P1, can't wait for it to arrive :dopey: Now of course I need a LaFerrari too for the holy three to be :P

I'm also waiting to add a LaFerrari to complete my holy trinity. The HWE with its doglegs under the engine bay and front bonner just don't cut it for me. I have no choice but to wait for the BBR diecast version.

BBR has some beautiful models but I don't think I can pay 500+ for a model anymore. :indiff: It's 3/4 times the price of HWE, I'm guessing I can live with a bit less quality. I also need another 918 because I only have the normal one, need one with a Weissach package too :P

The BBR diecast LaF wasn't even a thought when I bought my HWE on release. Don't think I will upgrade to the BBR, since it doesn't look THAT much better than the HWE, at least not from the prototype pics I have seen. Supposed to be a $300 USD model.

Thanks! I do have a few 991s, the count is as follows:

Early 911 (pre-964) – 10
964 – 5
993 – 11
996 – 9
997 – 16
991 – 10

I’ve considered adding the Porsche supercars, 959, GT1, CGT, and 918, (and even other non-Porsche models), but I need to stay specific to 911s or else I will be spending a fortune!

Edit: Just got this today, a 1/18 Norev Porsche 911 (997) Turbo, Dealer Edition. As with any Norev 911 I've seen, the ride height is too high in the front, so I fixed that.

OMG They're finally making one in 1/18!!! Tell me you're getting one.

Oh wait it's not the Z4. Boo...

I have placed a preorder. But knowing these Japaneses, it could be an extremely long wait or it won't even come out at all.

Tell me about it. IG 1/43 Orido Supra was only made available a few days ago. Took them long enough!

Pretty sure that is a Spark, so it will come out eventually. Also I kinda want it...

I know Good Smile's constantly dished out Miku livery rides in 1/32. Does Spark also produce in this scale?

Edit: Looked up "Minimax models" as per the fine print in that image... looks like they make Spark products. You know your stuff, sir!

Haven't you spent a fortune already?! Someday I hope I will be closing in on you :P Also the 997 Turbo looks MUCH better now!

Started my garage build, cut some wood; the garage is 60cm wide, 30cm deep and 30cm high. Here is the wall I came up with in Photoshop:
40485964993_1b7d1bdf11_b.jpg

Kinda wanted to go for three themes as there is room to display three cars. It's a concept so forgive me for the hard lines :) On the left I'm going to display my GT2RS (obviously :P), but the middle and the right is unsure. Maybe I just go with a 911R and 911 GT3RS, that would make a 991 theme in total or maybe something old in the middle and a GT-1 on the right? Thinking of putting a mirror under the photos on the wall all the way from left to right. Any advice would be great, I can just edit in Photoshop and print a new wall :P

Planning on putting LED lights on the ceiling and also high probability of putting an extra floor in acrylic glass from where the brick wall stops.

Okay...i can't take it, iv'e been on hieatous from this thread for too long... ya'll posting carporn after carporn...and i noticed i need to show my 1:43 collection some more love....

So it's that time again..

....here is a preview of all the 1:43's i just bought at one time... in a stupid? Drunken? Blur of "comfirm purchase now" that left a dent in my checking account...and a concerning phone call from wells fargo, fooling with ya'll...And needing to satisfy my itch of "wishlist" "syndrome"..and personally i thank/blame venom..and..AOS......etc for making me itch to buy more (in bulk) deja vu? Quantity and quality so i'm extremely..happy..or abit mental :)

Anyway the list/photos. Wanted more vareity this time instead of straight JDM like the last crazy bulk buy...

Someday I will have to take a pic of my 1/43 collection. I have around 120-ish 1/43's I think (haven't counted in a long while).
*Edit*
It appears I am missing at least 7 1/43 models, which I cannot seem to find. A couple Ebbros, a couple old Testors kits, an Ixo, . Been tearing up my apartment looking for them lol...

*Edit again*
Ok, there must be a box of 1/43's I didn't bring to my apartment from my mom's house, because the list of missing cars keeps growing...

this is awesome!!! I love the setup you must have been collecting for a long time now

And venom i hope you find them, i just moved to my new place and thought i lost a box full of horeheels car cultures...thank god i found it 2 days later

Yeah, I am about 99% sure I left a box full of 1/43's at my mom's from when I moved. Did some counting via older pics and it seems I am missing 13 cars. Anyway here is a pic of my 1/43's I do have with me:

(Click for bigger pic)
And I could not find the cases for the Spark 991 911S and AUTOart Carrera GT sitting randomly in that pic. The BBR 288 GTO is so old it did not have a case for some odd reason, but then I also bought it used.
