Anybody knows if all this applies to the Minichamps M3 GTR? I saw it at the dealership but didn't notice any difference:nervous:

Be ware that there are two hobby versions of the #42 and #43. One set is ALMS and one set is ELMS. The differences are subtle. However, I would suggest that you do some research before you buy one IF you are one of those collectors who's interested in race results or collect cars driven by certain drivers.

BTW, the dealer edition is from ELMS.

I never liked the fact that Minichamps called these 'street' cars because they are anything but that. They are purely fantasy cars.

Anyway, the difference are as follows.
Dealer versions:
Carbon Black
Estoril Blue
Oxford Green
Titanium Silver
Phoenix Yellow

Hobby versions:
Imola Red
Titanium Silver (w/ carbon fibre roof)

oh and the black BMW is an E36 M3 GTR made by UT models, i love that car and have been trying to get my hands on one for some time, however they
sell for ridiculous prices on ebay :( ive seen a damaged one go for upwards of £50

oooo the white E36 M3 GTR with its small areas of M colour looks nice, gonna have to see if I can hunt one down in england. Would go well with the M3 GTR I've just ordered.

EDIT: Found one on eBay and have started watching it! black version

I agree. All they did was repaint the race car. The real street version has a completely different body.

Just like everybody said, the black is the M3 GTR.:)
And just like the 22B that has been driving you guys crazy, I also bought it years ago, thinking it was nice, but not knowing that it'd get rare and make some people drool. Has anyone seen its back?

We don'T have Sharper Image here :(. Who's releasing the EB110? I got the Bburago but I'd get another one.. the EB110 is so hot:dopey:

I can't find any Bburago either (I live in Montreal), but I'm also trying to get the most Autoart as I can. I have something like 15 Maisto premiere edition that I got from Costco and they're really good cars, but I'm such a big fan of scissors doors, I can't get cheap Lambo's!

Maisto is. It seems decent, but it's part of their cheapest line-up, the Special Editions though that will make it easier on me to go to Sam's and get one.

Alot of the older Lamborghini models from Maisto such as the Diablos are very hard and are pretty rare, espcially the VT Coupes. Though the Bburago's are even rarer, but all old Bburago's are pretty rare, with F40 and EB110. I think you can some of their old RT/10 models though based on the very 1st RTs.

On the M3 GTR, the road car is actually the M3 GTR "Strasse" though no makers classify it as that.

I made it through the night :). If my models wanted to attack me they'd all fall off the shelves and break down in pieces before they reach me!:sly:

(Though I did find the 3 M3's under my bed this morning:nervous: )

You guys really make me want to buy the Kyosho GTR. Fortunately, I don't have to order it from Honk Kong!

Anybody got information about the Kyosho (I think) Supra? I saw it years ago but it was too expensive, so I let it go.... And now I'm looking desperately for one... maybe as much as you guys are looking for a 22B! hahaha
 
Well I've just won an AutoArt #53 Oreca Viper on eBay

EDIT: oh yeah and Aero, I no longer need to look for the 22B as I've now got one thanks to some girl somewhere in this country selling hers. Now I'm focusing on a NASCAR 1/24 model and some BMW GTR's
