YAY, w00t, all those happy words.
My #53 Oreca Viper arrived today, and my god it's sweet. I remember being jealous of a mate of mine cause he had an Oreca Viper shell on his R/C car but now I got the model I'm happy.

Need more AutoArt Vipers though. Two is not enough.

Hopefully, my UT E36 BMW GTR will arrive this week, postage did say special delivery so 1-2 days it should be here.

11 days gone and no sign of the Jota SVR :grumpy: soon ill be sending an email asking why....

:grumpy: hell i would've sent an email after 5 days. lol

EDIT: Unless you ordered from another country in which case it will take longer. lol like my Kyosho M3 GTR. I want to know if that has been dispatched yet.

ive got a question about ebay, when it says this:

Item location:
Based in HONG KONG & CANADA !SHIP WORLDWIDE!
United Kingdom

does that mean the item is in hong-kong/canada but the seller is in the uk? or the othe way round? or neither?

in other words i dunno where the Jota SVR is coming from!

Honestly I've got no clue, because thats what it said for my silver M3 GTR, the actual model is in Hong Kong, the seller I don't know where she is located. lol

I've had a seller say shes from the UK, but the package came from Saskatewan, Canada. I was wondering why shipping was only 6 GBP for a 1/18 car.

auctionslady is located in Hong Kong and duncalfem is located in Saskatoon, Canada. The only reasons why I can come up with for their preferred currency are:
1. Bid increments on eBay is slightly higher using that GBP.
2. GBP is a rather stable currency. USD is weak and CAD is a strong.
3. There may be an advantage of more exposure listing it that way since the search results on each 'eBay' is slightly different.

Just a word of caution for those (especially those in Canada) bidding on duncalfem's auctions: Read the fine prints. The applicable taxes and fees will add up quickly (and that is why his auction prices are relatively low).

Good point, but i'll add that with the taxes and shipping, its usually lower then shipping from the states in most cases.
Of course, there are the few exceptions.

I agree. He has some good models on auction, like the Minichamps 300 SL, and the Diablo SV by Autoart, but I gave up in the end on the Diablo

$15.00 US for shipping, then a fairly high price in GBP (almost 35 quid), and then 7% GST, and then $4.00 US for paypal. :nervous:

well my SVR arrived yesterday while i was at work, its a truly superb model and id say more detailed than my autoart models! i can really honestly say its the best model i have :) ill post pics up soon.

yeah he mentioned when he bought it that it was going to be pink I think.
it's a nice model and the more I see it, the more I would want one. However, I'd probably go for a black version.

EDIT: Got word that my black E36 M3 GTR by UT Models has been sent today and should arrive tomorrow, YAY!

Damn thats a huge gallery and I see a few cars there that I would want. Could you tell me the manufacturers of the following in your gallery:

Corvette Grand Sport
Ford GT(40?) Gulf Colours
Mercedes CLK GTR Street Version

if its the same GT40 as in bondy's gallery, which it seems to be, yes.

Cool, i've put it in my watch list, didnt realise it was 1/12 scale

Hotwheels makes a valuable GTO, so if you plan on replacing it, look into hotwheels. It sells ~3x is MSRP.
I wish AutoArt made a 288 GTO and a Corvette GS.
