Well... considering they are stickers it's a bummer yes, but part of my pillar sticker on the door to my #52 just fell off one day and that was a brand new model not secondhand so to me that's always been the weak part of AA models in the first place. I'm not sure what else to say about that.

I hope if I finally decide to get one that it is shipped properly, the one i found would have to be shipped from Switzerland to here in the UK which is quite a journey for a 1/18th scale beast like the Viper

As long as it's in the original box and tied down the way it comes from the factory there should be no problem especially if it's bubble rapped.

sting
Oh well slightly damaged or not I bet you love that you have one.

Yes, It's getting harder and harder and I refuse to pay "inflated" prices. Don't get me wrong I understand collectable but for ex. $79.00 + s&h for a CTS-V Race Presentation car?? Uhh... no.

There's a member on UltimatecarPage.com forums that was getting rid of his collection to make room for more of his Ferrari Collection so I traded him a red Ferrari 456 and $10 for his Chaimberlain and a Hotwheels Black Viper SRT-10. The part that sucks is he didn't ship it with the care it should've recieved, so stuff was pretty beat up on the Chaimberlain. Luckily... Amazingly, there wasn't as much body damage and there could have been but all the fragile stuff broke off. I've fixed it so it's not that visible. The only thing that was wrong with it before the shipping damage was the passenger side door was broken. After telling him what happened he refunded me the $10. I'm sad about the model but it still looks good IMO so that's that. I suppose I could try to sell it and try to get a nicer, newer one but I don't know if I want to go though all the headache to do it. :guilty:
I could have helped out :sly: . I'm good at repairing models 👍 .

whoa, getting replacement stickers will be harder then getting the Chamberlain itself. Unless you find a place that'll do exact replica stickers.

Actually, wait so you can fix the stickers? Where would you get replacement stickers?
actually, I wouldn't need replacement stickers. if your talking about stickers falling off, I could apply some adhesive to them and slap them on(though you might be pi**** if I slap the car  ). I can repair doors and broken headlights too. I've done that plenty of times to my friend's models that were either defective or got damaged during shipping. Hell, the Black Lotus GT1 I got was damaged when I got it for christmas, but I easily repaired it.

Picked it up cheap at CostCo for $10 :)

Yeah, repairing it's easy in some cases... At one time I was sorta modifing them too. It's the easiest on Maisto models.

Damnit freak you sure know how to make a guy jealous. lol

I've never seen a silver RT/10 though, you sure its not custom painted?

:ill: I hope not... if it is oh well, they must have done a phenominal job because I don't see any old color nor body changes if they painted over it. :)

I'd say it's still worth the $27 (incl. s&h) I paid for it.

I'll post some pictures if you like.

Well, I only have 1 1:18th car at the moment, which is a Lambourghini Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole.

Unfortunately I got it when I was about 8 (now 15) and so at the time I was never able to appreciate it, which resulted in a broken off bott/spoiler. :nervous: It's sat under my bed for ages, and i've just dragged it out. COnsidering it's been sitting in a broken box for about 3 years it's in amazing condition (not including the boot). Not even dusty. :D Looking at it now the level of detail is amazing, especially around the engine bay. I reckon i'll be adding to my 'collection' sooner rather than later. :)👍

**edit** I've just found a pic of the model I have. If you imagine it with the rear wing missing, it doesn't look too bad from the side. From any other angle it looks quite bad though, the entire boot cover is missing. :(

Bought myself a Ferrari Enzo and a Maserati MC12 a few weeks back, and a Ferrari F355 Spyder and F40 yesterday... thought I needed some Ferraris, as I didn't have any a month ago.

I'd like some pictures of:

- Lamborghini Diablo Roadster (Black)
- Bugatti EB110 (Blue)
- Subaru Impreza 22B (Blue, of course)
- Porsche 911 Speedster (1989, Red)
- Ford GT90 (White, of course)

If you can please :).

By Hot Wheels? I've got the Enzo and the F355 Spider and the F40, all in red by Hot Wheels (1/18). I've been eyeing that MC12. This coming Xmas, I'm gonna make myself a big present. MC12, Corvette C6 Z06 (both by HW), Michael Schumacher #1 Ferrari F2003/2004, and then prolly a Skyline GT4 edition (Autoart  ).

hmm ive been thinking about hotwheels recently. usually i wouldnt go for them cos they never seemed to make quality cars but i think they have improved considerably over the last year or so. the other day i saw a hotwheels ferrari 250GT berlinetta and ive got to say i want it!

How much for that one? It looks decent, although I don't particularly like the 250GT Berlinetta.

think it was about £17.99 or something most of the models from where i saw it are yat ming, bburago, maisto and a few revell
though they do sell some Autoart at £19.99 and the minichamps are around £39.99
