I've been looking at Impreza models on eBay and am pondering getting the 22B by AutoArt even though they are damn expensive. I would've preferred if a P1 Impreza model was made, but c'est la vie.

Is that JGTC Supra sealed? Anyway, it still looks good. I especially like the back lights, and the tyres along with the rims look really good. The livery overall is quite good too, tho I'm more of a fan of that Takata Dome NSX and the Exxon Superflo Supra (or the ESSO Ultraflo Supra).

Wouldn't it be nice to have the ESSO Ultraflo Supra JGTC and the ESSO Ultraflon Toyota GTOne '99 LM 24hr (driven by Ukyo Katayama I believe, ex-F1 driver). :sly:
The 2003 Takata Dome NSX is going to be release soon. The 2004 Takata Dome NSX is also a future release.
There are two future release for the Ultraflo Supra: 2003 JGTC and 2005 SuperGT.:)

Just wondering, how much are you willing to pay for one? :dopey:

Well I got 2 models today.

First I got the McLaren MP4-18 Alex Wurz Test Car by Minichamps that I ordered off eBay. 👍

And I also bought a Shelby Cobra 427 S/C by Shelby Collectibles today from my favorite hobby shop. It's a great addition to my collection and I'll probably put it together with my 3 other Vipers that I have (Vipers and Cobra should make nice friends, hopefully the Vipers won't bite :dopey: ).

Anyway, I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

And how about a group photo with its 'bigger brother'? 💡

Well, I went the cheap route today.

I finally saw a new Z06 model, and just had to have it.
I also have a MC12 coming.

And in a few weeks, I'll pick up my AMV8 when it comes in.

Props to Hot Wheels for putting out some nice looking models now, imo.

That is the nicest looking cobra ive seen around, 👍 much better than the yat ming one. I may well have to look into investing in one of those:)

OK people help.....

Which is the better manufacturer out of Maisto and Bburago?

Cool, cause on eBay there is a Maisto and Bburago Viper GTS I am both watching and was just wondering which would be the best to get. I think my black RT/10 is Bburago.

Well, I just won an auction for the Maisto GTS Viper against a guy who seems to be buying lots of Viper models (which is what I'm trying to do also, so he's a threat. lol)

I'll still probably buy the Bburago version also, so I can match it with my Bburago RT/10. This Maisto one is just because I love Vipers, and it was only £1.85. BARGAIN!

I don't like older Maisto models. Newer ones like say the 997 Carrera S, the Cayman, Boxster S and the SL55 AMG are pretty decent. I have some older Bburagos like a Diablo and EB110.

I also have an older Viper RT/10 in red by Bburago. :dopey:

I finally paired that up with a Viper GTS in blue w/ white stripes by Bburago late last year when I found one at a hobby shop. 👍

If you appreciate all decent 1:18 models, both Bburago and Maisto are quite good, though I like Hot Wheels' Ferrari models a lot more over both these brands.

Since Bburago has gone bust like 2 or 3 months ago, you won't find them around anymore unfortunately. They still made some quite good models though, so I'll probably be trying to snatch up some Porsche 993s and 996s by them on eBay if I can find at low prices, and something like a Ferrari 348, or 250LM or Testa Rossa wouldn't be bad either. :dopey:

As long as it was a Viper I'd do either Bburago or Maisto but all my other non Viper models are either in storage (no space) or well lets just say not very taken care of. :guilty: Maybe I should just sell all the non-Viper ones, I really won't display them or do anything with them.

Anyway, Good luck getting thoughs models you want on eBay. 👍

The two Bburago models I have are of inferior quality; I wasn't impressed (The silver Vanquish is missing the bodywork on the rear view mirrors). My dad has a couple of really nice Bburagos from years past, so maybe I'm just unlucky :)

My Bburago's have been ok in terms of quality, can't say they gave me any problems.

I've got quite a few Bburagos - my first 1:18 was one, the yellow Diablo - and the old Mini they did was alright, although they made it in 1:16 for some reason. I'd rather have had it in 1:18, despite the size.

Maisto = Quantity

Bburago = Quality (at least on the body)
Not anymore. Bburago's 1:18 models here are kits and they're a beat cheap.

If you want nice Maisto's, you've got to be willing to spend more than $15.

They're SLRs and production Carrera GTs are very nice.

To me $15 is avg. anything over $25 for either company I wouldn't buy.

Heh, you know how much a Maisto is at my local Costco?

$11.99 canadian dollars. That's approximately $9.99 - $10.49 USD. Take into account that I don't have to pay shipping for them, and the only sales tax is 7% GST so it comes to about $11.00-$11.50 USD.

That's what I paid for my Carrera GT, 997 Carrera S and SL55 AMG by Maisto. The Hot Wheels cars at Toys R Us and Superstore are a bit more expensive, they're $17.99cad, so about $15.5-$16.0 usd.

That's what I call "cheap" models. They're all great models though and I really like them in my collection.

Now you know how I feel when I go to the hobby shop and I see a Ford GT by AUTOart for $104.95cad and wonder if it's worth almost 10 times the price of a Maisto lol.

Yep, during X-mas I got my Silver SRT-10 from there for $10. :)👍

I love that car in that color the best!

Yeah, my Sam's club sells them for $10, so I usually always pick 1 up.

But they never have the real exotics in though I did pick up my GT90, 997 Carrera, Boxster S and 911 Turbo Conv. from them.

At an older Sam's that doesn't sell 'em anymore (:(), I bought my DB7 Vantage, XJ220 (took me forever to find it there) and a few others.

Toys R' Us didn't have any good Hot Wheels, but then again, I checked after Christmas, so I'll go again real soon.

Agreed!

I too, picked up mine in Silver. I may go back and buy the red one too
.

Yeah, it just seems like it's not worth it or not that good of detail to me. Actually they seem almost more delicate than AA sometimes. :scared:
