Maybe, but the Xj220 is a little longer than my Diablo SV and VT and not really big.

From what I've seen, the MC12 looks very wide and very long.

Here is a comparison between the XJ220, the MC12 and the Maybach 62 (one of my biggest cars)

D*mn, I think it's mostly big due to its wideness.

The 62 is pretty d*mn big, but then again, it's big in real life too and it's a 4 door.

I don't think the 62 will fit in my little lego garage and I think the MC12 will just barely make it. My F40 and Diablo VT just barely make it in now. Hell, the MC12 might even be to wide too.

Guess I'll have to redo the garage then.:dopey:

I also have a Diablo VT and the MC12 is much bigger. The MC12 is just under 30 cm (12 inches) long, but much wider as you said :)

Are you serious that sucker's a foot long? I don't even want to know the 62 (who am I kidding? Sure I do).

Guess I need to check my garage lengths then.

EDIT: Just did a check.
My Diablo VT is 9 and half inches long and my garage is 14 inches long from the wall to the front.
It's dead on 12 if I move the car a little away from the back wall and it will sit right at the garage's inside mark. That really is a big car.

Hahaha, see for yourself :

(The Maybach is 33cm long)

Edit : You do have an SV, don't you?

Edit #2 : I have a VT and it's the same lenght as the SV

The MC12 is a very big car in real life from what I've heard and from what I've seen of it on Fifth Gear.

The F430 also has large rims in real life as well.

I do agree that the MC12 has a bit oversize rims on the HW model relative to real life model, but it's still a great model imo.

Also I hate you all, bragging about your Lambos and all. I want a VT and SV too. :nervous: . And I also want a MC12 to go along with them and the EB110 I have.

I got my SV 2 weeks ago and I'm still looking for a VT ( I got the Roadster ), but they're very hard to find. Too bad I waited that long:grumpy: .

The roadster is nice too. When I was at a resort in the rockies (Banff) this winter, I found a shop selling several diecast models, all of which were Autoart I think. They had some nice models, like the Toyota GT-One "ESSO Ultraflon", the 917K Steve McQueen, and among other things, a Diablo VT and a Diablo Roadster, both of which were really nice. They also had the Miura SV and Countach 5000S, and also a Impreza WRC Burns/Reid and Impreza WRC Makkinen/Lindstrom, they were all nice.

Those Diablos were really nice though.

Right now, I have a Diablo SE by Bburago and a Diablo GTR by Hot Wheels. The one by Bburago is in purple and I think it's the 30th anniversary special. The GTR is in yellow. It's a nice model too. The AUTOart one would be nicer, but I don't really have the money to buy all things by Autoart and must prioritize my purchases.

The Diablos are beautiful cars. I love the way their profile was designed, because they are scary. If you look at the Diablo from the front without any elevation, you can see the way the back is wider than the front, and this is what makes the Diablo nice. Unfortunately, the Murcielago has a less aggressive, but it's probably due to aerodynamics.

Anyways, I managed to find a yellow SV and a yellow GTR by autoart, but I'm still looking for a VT and a 6.0 VT :nervous:.

Long live the Diablo!

Anyone know where to get a Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R in 1/24 or 1/18? Been looking forever, but can't find anything

I can recommend eBay, its been good to me recently.
Yesterday my Maisto blue/white striped Viper GTS and AutoArt Subaru 22B arrived and today I got my Bburago silver/blue striped Viper GTS, all 3 from eBay sellers.

In case you're still wondering, Mclaren, the MC12 is the length of 1 and a half DVD cases, and just as wide as one. It's also nearly as wide as a Mini is long.

17ft long and 7ft wide?!?! Jesus Christ :scared: thats f'ing huge! :) nice vid there vipfreak now we can begin to realise just how big the maybach 62 is in real life, from the comparo pic with the mc12 and xj220 👍

hmmm still waiting on the Muira Jota SVR :grumpy: should arrive sometime tomorrow or thursday, hopefully :dopey:

VIPFREAK
:scared: check this nuts mofo out.
Wow! Though some may call him stupid, I do agree with him. Why have that car if you're not going to use it to its full potential?

I can't wait to get mine! I guess Hot Wheels got its large size right then.

About the 62. I've seen the 1st 62 models and they didn't seem really big, but then again, they weren't next to anything in its class or size.

Yep... I don't have the funds to not worry though. :dopey:

edit: :banghead: Why don't the make the black race version of the MC12?? :grumpy:

OK another diecast related question, what does it mean if a model is Dealer Edition?

As far as i know it means that the model was made for a certain car dealership in limited quantities for sale at said dealership, this means they tend to be more precise and better quality compared to standard models. 👍

Correct. 👍

I would like to add that DE usually comes out way before the hobby version is released (if it ever comes out as a hobby version) and can come in exclusive colours (usually the preferred colours) that you won't see in the hobby version. And because it's DE, it is more expensive.

Anybody knows if all this applies to the Minichamps M3 GTR? I saw it at the dealership but didn't notice any difference:nervous:

If you're referring to the M3 GTR race car, I don't think it matters. It was plenty expensive anyway, and of exquisite quality :)

The BBurago VT is awesome. The interior isn't exactly top notch, but the outside is very cool.👍

Maisto does something like the DP Editions.
The Premiere Editions are the ones usually not sold in stores unless that store specializes in them.

They're actually pretty rare, and very decent models, like my DB7 Vantage, Carrera GT Concept, and etc.

The closest place I know to get them is Shaper Image and Sharper ALWAYS likes to bump the price up.

Playerz Gallardo @ SI=$40
Playerz Gallardo @ Wal-Mart, etc.=$20

If you must buy a model from Sharper, make sure it's one of the rare models such as the CLK-GTR and DeLorean.👍 Also, the GT Racing models are actually extremely nice and the top models. The R8 is actually very nice as the CLK-GTR.

BTW, they are rereleasing the EB110 in Special Edition boxes.

We don'T have Sharper Image here :(. Who's releasing the EB110? I got the Bburago but I'd get another one.. the EB110 is so hot:dopey:

I can't find any Bburago either (I live in Montreal), but I'm also trying to get the most Autoart as I can. I have something like 15 Maisto premiere edition that I got from Costco and they're really good cars, but I'm such a big fan of scissors doors, I can't get cheap Lambo's!
