Running in 200 at the moment. Right now, not gonna say the car, but its running at 196 HP.

Don't expect anything great out of this...the DFP is still pretty new.

edit:
also, if ayone is looking for a time to shoot for or beat or simply compare with, I used a T200 prepped AE86 and did the following:

AE86 - yes it was panda, if you care to know
stage 3 weight reduction
Semi-racing muffler, Stage 2 NA tune-up, oil change = 200hp exactly
full drivetrain, brake, suspension mods and sim tires
T1 - 31.551
T2 - 1'07.839
Fin - 1'35.127

Spent about 20mins playing with settings until I had managed to get enough oversteer out of it that I didnt immediately start doing laps in 'drift mode'.
It will go faster, I didnt start the lap at full speed due to a poor exit to the final corner on the previous lap. The settings I had could probably see the mid to low 1'34's, if I spent the time. So there's definitely room for improvement. I quit because, frankly I grew tired of tip-toeing it around the course. There are faster alternatives available, but it gives others some sort of benchmark to compare themselves to until other time and car combinations start appearing.

oh, and posting your results here in this sort of format is fine Ebiggs. Only if there is some discrepancy with your time will any additional information, or a replay, be required.

At the other end of the spectrum from the oversteer happy AE86, we have the Vitz.

Tuned to 193 HP when I left the shop, and up to 194 after a few laps, its not half bad.

Maybe 10 laps, need to work the settings a bit more, but still...

T200, FF, Vitz

T2 - 1'06.120
Fin - 1'32.696

Could no doubt get more time out of it as well. Just need to work out some more of the understeer.

Also note drivers that your HP will go up a little even after just a few laps, so double check it after your drive around. Make sure it doesn't exceed the requirements.

EDIT: Gah! My special car just went 2hp over with the oil change. Guess I'll just buy another. I don't feel like running it until the oil goes bad...It'll break in that way too, so more hp. This is a lot of trouble for 2hp, you know.

Chipped and Stage 1 turbo'd to 194hp, broken in to 197 while testing. Fully tuned otherwise.

whoo, nice time in the Vitz Azuremen. Ill have to see if i can top that later tonight. You are the Toyota guy though.

still looks like our 'secret car' is the way to go. It remains 3 or 4 seconds quicker than anything else posted here, or that I've tried on my own so far.

if only i'd saved my 1'28.8 lap, i could be chasing that ghost to get faster...

played with diff settings and got it to corner and slow up much nicer

Fin: 1'33.320 the best i got this far... only drived 6 laps on poor poor settings tough.. damn fast and light car but there is still one wich is faster and lighter than this one...

cant be the SS, its over 200hp

i wound my 200 class jallopy up tp 131mph at the approach to turn 1 when i ran 1'29.104

This series is restricted to Japanese(JDM) Cars Only. Race, Rally, And Tommy Kaira cars can not ne used. These cars can not be used due to power/weight issues.

Yeah, that was going to be my first pick, but then I re-read it... I just can't seem to shave off the last .7 seconds with my MR-S. I think the top end is what's killing me. I really like the handling and power combination right now, though. Grips when I need it to, and can handle a controlled drift as well.

I'm thinking about trying a stage 1 NA instead of my current mods, to see if there is a significant difference. Any tips?

What is acceptable for a lap?

2 tires on the track at all times?
or dont cut the first or last corner
no wall hits?

are we allowed to cut some corners in the middle of the track, but just not the first or last corner.

It would be good to add some of these rules that way it would be more fairer.

lol, that completely changes my view of the Alto works
i had it out for a lap or two, but it wasnt tuned as fully as yours, nor did it have a decent setup installed

all my cars are 4WD which with sims i belive helps alot, but deep forest is all about lines espicially with 300 - 400 hp cars on sims.
