Believe it or not, I haven't been Whammed yet, even though I listen to a radio station which has played the song on previous Decembers quite often.
 
My stations have just started playing Christmas music. I listen to one oldies station (which plays 80's music, too) and one pop station that plays 80's music on Fridays.

Still living dangerously. :D

Guess what? I got Whammed! Riding in the car, listening to the radio of course. I actually made a prediction I'd get Whammed! by the 5th, and I have. :grumpy: I heard it, then I was like OK, I remember this song, then 30 seconds later, I thought, "Oh ****." I was living dangerously, staring down the barrel, and sometime it was gonna go off. I just didn't know when.

But for now, **** Wham! I have my tree up, and I'm ready to enjoy the rest of the holiday season, peacefully, not scared-outta-my-wits.

And shem, is the mushroom you gave me powerful enough to undo a Wham!?
 
I had a very close call yesterday evening.

I was flicking through the channels when I stopped on E4. At that moment, I saw that one of those classic christmas album adverts had just started. Luckily I reacted quickly enough by pressing mute while simultaneously changing the channel. According to another member who was Whammed! last week, "Last Christmas" was one of the tracks in that advert.

Bye bye... Bom bom bom. bod dom dom dodom. :P Unfortunately mushrooms don't save people from Wham! Not even mass destruction weaponry can.

There should be a way to stay in the game if you just hear it, like your still in if you hear it, recognise it but then drop your bags, run out of the shops with your fingers in your ears screaming lalalalalala....

...you should still be allowed to play if you do that....

I got whammed while cheffing on Sunday. The radio was tuned to Peak 107 FM while we were banging out Sunday service and I was powerless to do anything about it.

I'm out.

Nope, its all Rock, metal, punk rock Drum and Bass, Hardcore trance and other related genres except country and dubstep.
 
1,000 years on nothing has changed santa is still evil, I think it is because he got whammed.

I Know i'm not a contender, but either way, a couple of days ago i was hit by... a Double Whammy!.

Yep, heard it once in the house, and then again in the car; the same day! :P
Gutted, because up till then I was feeling quite happy that I had never heard it; Then all of a sudden you hear those words...George...Michael...and I knew it was all over. :D
 
Scare of the day - I opened the music player on my phone and hit shuffle all. The first thing I see on the screen - Wham. 🤬, me thinks. Thankfully it was only Stevie Ray Vaughn - Wham. :lol:
