I got whammed again today in the fluffy sock section of M&S, anyone with shopping still to do is playing a risky game!
 
Heard it in my school as I was helping put decorations on the Christmas tree.. :(

All the rest of my friends seemed to enjoy the song though
 
Oh BEEP i just got whammed. I was listening to a non christmas station but suddenly i hear that beginningg jingle and i start thinking " you idiot " and now i got triple whammed. Screw you WHAM!
 
Put me in terminally ill/insane. The christmas stations are up and I cannot help but listen... Fortunately no wham yet! *phew*
 
I feel like taking any precaution is futile because I'm probably gonna get whammed at the mall on sunday.
 
I have to play this. Count me in! I haven't heard this song before, well I probably have, I just won't realize it.

EDIT: I almost got whammed by clicking the video! :lol:
 
**** **** **** ****!! I got Whammed at the cafeteria. When I sat down and they had Christmas music on I was like, "****, I better eat and leave quick in case they play that song." So just when I got full it came on.

I guess that at least means I'm a part of tasteless mainstream society now and not just cloistered in my room like last year.
 
Whoops, I just noticed that one of my bros were Whammed! four days ago.

I'm hoping that I can make it, given that nobody here in Cebu plays that song. :lol:
 
I'm out. I got Whammed working on a car in a garage where I couldn't switch radiostations.

Crap.
 
I'm sort of scared. My mate told me he wants to Wham me! I didn't even tell him about Wham! I've decided to keep away from him till next year. :p

At least their song is not half bad. Now, imagine if Gaga scores with a big christams hit!! I will leave to become a hermit in the Moon.
 
Nearly got Whammed! today. While preparing myself for class this morning, Last Christmas was playing on the radio. I'm glad that it was just a cover version. The original version would be unlikely since that radio was playing new music only, but it's a Friday and every Friday would be retro hit day, so Wham would be pretty possible. Oh, the suspense.

No Rebecca Black though even though it's Friday.
 
1.Wham is now EVERYWHERE in Germany, and it's going to be even worse getting closer to X-mas, so us Germans gotta be in alarm mode all the time.

I barely watch TV and catch the comercials , but today watching the news there was a story about christmas music.
I thought , here it comes and I continued watching , because I was surrounded by family members and running out of room would have been wierd.
Luckily the story was about a radio station that plays finnish christmas classics. :lol:

Whammed yesterday!...Not once but twice in the span of 2hrs on 2 different stations...Nothing like kicking a guy when he's down...Inescapable situations too as I didn't,couldn't,escape the social situations at the time without looking suspicious...Yup,nailed for sure...Count me out for this round...:ouch:

What's so weird about running out of the room when the family is in there? I do it often. :p

I had a very close call yesterday evening.

I was flicking through the channels when I stopped on E4. At that moment, I saw that one of those classic christmas album adverts had just started. Luckily I reacted quickly enough by pressing mute while simultaneously changing the channel. According to another member who was Whammed! last week, "Last Christmas" was one of the tracks in that advert.

I learnt it the hard way. Have heard multiple covers though. Apparently the cast of 'The Only Way is Essex!' (a 🤬 program about a bunch of Essex boys and girls) are singing it...

The TOWIE cover was posted a few pages back. I even commented on it.


I'm still in by the way. There was a good chance that I would have been Whammed! in Asda on Wednesday, but luckily the song didn't play while I was there.
 
Not that I'm trying to influence the competition, but shouldn't there be a closing date for entries? I think it's a little unfair for those who have been playing for weeks and have managed to avoid getting whammed to have to go up against someone who may not have been paying attention and already heard Wham but forgotten.

Like I say, I'm not trying to influence the competition, but there should be some closing date. I'll respect whatever the thread creator decides.
