I'm more likely to hint if it's going in the wrong direction. I haven't commented on series, so you'll have to assume Formula 1 is the way to go.

And time and time again: Colour is unchanged. 312Ts, like most Ferraris, are red. This blurred thing isn't red.

I don't see any red in the photo, but might it be the Brabham BT46 fan car?

*EDIT* Tree'd

*EDIT2* Lotus 77?

Honda RA262 (I think that's what it's called, the 60's V12 one anyway)

Nay. Alonsomania is in the same ballpark of experimental engineering, though.

Also a hint: Versions of this car ran in a major event other than F1.

The Monk is close enough: It is, in fact, a regular Lotus 56. This pretty example is a 1969 model driven by Emerson Fittipaldi:

Woo-hoo!

Fair enough, thought it was the Gas one because yuo said it was pretty radical!

Right, well I thought I'd put a bit of a slant on the blurring thing, and I've been listening to a lot of Pink Floyd recentley, think I've stayed in the rules, colours arnt changed...

.. I think it's a bit easy...

Audi A4 DTM?

It's a nice blurring, and secondly, you're correct about the gas-turbine engine (and there was 4WD on top) - it's just the first 56.

BMW Z4 DTM Red Bull

Close enough... it's not a DTM (obviously) but it is a Red Bull Z4M, run by Duller Motorsport in 24hr races (this one was at the Silverstone Britcar 24), it's also won at the Dubai 24hr

I thought it was that exact car but there was no point me saying as Joey D had already said.
