Thanks all, though don't expect to many drunken antics from me I've never been a big drinker despite being a student .

I've been staying in my girlfriends new place (rented house) in Bangor for the past couple of nights and the next 2 as well. Come the 18th I will be moving back into uni halls myself here for year 2 where I might actually need to do some work .

I don't really know what to treat myself to for my birthday, I generally receive money as the bigger gift from the 'rents, but a GT5 pre-order will probably be top of the list 👍.

👍 to all the later posters, I had no net access for the mini-vacation but I'm back home now after an awesome ride home (typical for a GTPer I enjoyed the journey about as much as the destination). For those interested, I took the A5 all the way pretty much, up through the rolling hills and valleys of Wales. It's a truly beautiful place and the road itself is hardly a let down either, well worth taking over a dual carriageway (the A55 for me) and it's 20 miles shorter but takes roughly the same time.

Thanks fellas, had a great day at Alton Towers with my girlfriend and a couple of friends I haven't seen in a while (and unfortunately won't again for a while), immediately after a week in Centre Parcs on the girlfriends parents dime (not for my birthday just happened to coincide perfectly). The typical student drunken shenanigans have been delayed until I go back to Uni, main aim will simply be to get home under my own steam come that time... 👍.
