Mass Effect 2 when

Spoiler Tali and Legion set aside their differences to work as a team.

When I choose jack as the bitoc on the last mission and she showed a compassionate side of herslef

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

It was the best game I ever played.
Best story
Best OST
Best scenery. I can't ask for me. Just remembering the time's I had playing that game..

Vice City, VCS and SA are my favorites.

Being 11 at the time of release and with aspergers, I can say that I almost welled up after playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 1. The game story was like nothing I'd experienced before (and when you're 11 with aspergers it's a big deal). It's funny because I haven't played a game with a 'story' for so long now, probably because I'm not into FPS or other similar genres.

I have Asperger's and I never cried at a video game itself because of the fact that I play Racers or other Sports games. But I did cry when my first PS2 died, and when my step brother destroyed my GT1-4 :'(

I had my PS2 stolen by some house burglars. My younger sister was a bit emotional, because she thought I might throw a right mad wobbly.

I didn't. Didn't really care too much as I knew insurance would cover it.

However, there was a bloody demo disc in it that I actually enjoyed playing on it, forever lost for me! Curse those light-fingered thieves!

Game wise, not really cried as such, but had become emotional at times (normally rage, especially with Super Meat Boy, bloody hard work!).

GT5 Had made me cry a river! :(
I have suffered many car accidents! Surprisingly I'm still Virtually Alive!

Get forza 4 and go to Sarthe in a fast car full throttle till the end. That'll make you cry seas

FFX, every damn time.

The ending of FFXIII-2 was quite the oh 🤬, and sad feeling. Like you did all that work for nothing.

Didn't cry, but got a bit 'WHAT THE **** NOOOOOOOO!!!!' when in Blops 2,
You get set up to shoot Mernandez, only to find out you actually shot and killed Mason

Medal of Honor 2012 had one sad moment when..

Mother dies in the interrogation room.

The ending cut scene was pretty awesome and looked real. Danger Close did a great job with the other aspect of war besides killing people all the time.

I've never cry while playing video games. But i felt really emotional at the end of The Journey

Yeah Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 when i was like 10 years old, and spend long time on a theme park, and the game crashed and i didnt save it :/

I didnt start crying like a baby but I did have a tear in my eye at the end of The Walking Dead Episode 5 arcade game. I wont list any spoilers. But anyone that has played that game knows exactly what I am talking about. It also won GOTY 2013.

No tears, but the saddest point for me was in Gears 2 when Dom rescues his wife but it was too late and he had to end her misery.

MGS 3, when Snake salutes The Boss's grave at the end.

Damn the CIA!

I think that's only time in MGS history where the main character actually sheds a tear.

But the touching part was that you can tell Snake was furious at himself more so than being outright sad.

Yeah I agree that part was real hard.

GOW3
That reminds me. The part in GOW3 when Dom "disappears" and you have to see Marcus' face. That part actually choked me up pretty bad. Really got attached to him over all these years of playing.

Saints Row 2
The part when Carlos is being dragged to his death behind the semi of the Brotherhood. You are chasing the semi and you see his body being dragged. Then after you stop the truck its too late and you have to put him out of his misery. That was another really sad moment. Just such a brutal and painful death.

The end of The Walking Dead Episode 5 is right up there for sure.

* SPOILER *

You could see that coming a mile away to be honest.

No but I'd say that there were two games with parts that I was really connected to.

That is Medal of Honor 2012 when your getting overrun and are pretty much screwed and then the Apaches show up.

The other is the mission Thunder Run in Battlefield 3 and the one after that. I always really liked the part in Thunder Run where your moving towards the city on the .50 cal and when the car bombs are driving towards you and you have to defend the tank.

If the BF3 campaign followed the exact path of the BF3 "The Russian" book. I'm confident it would have been one of the best campaigns ever. I read it and I couldn't believe how much they cut from the book in the campaign. The BF3 campaign in essence is just the middle part of the story, From the US and Russia's entrance into Tehran to the Murder of Cole.

I usually don't pay attention to stories in video games but Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team made me cry a bit.

It was just you and your partner as the world has turned against you and then just before you leave to escape a couple Pokemon that you've helped showed up to say their goodbyes. It felt nice to know that I still had friends even when the world turned against me.

Nice necro RESH, I'd forgotten about this thread and am now obligated to insert the Colin McRae tribute video in DiRT 2. All the subtle nods, blatant references, a few of the trophies, and the McRae Challenge helped make the game, then you win the challenge and instead of going back to the RV, you get a short video that's light on words and heavy on the imagery.

DAMMIT, just recalling it almost gets a few tears.

Didn't cry, but was very close during some scenes in The Last of Us.

Also the Red Dead Rdemption ending is very sad.
