Well, the title of this thread asks if you moved on to a better sim... Depends on how you interpret the word sim. If you only consider the simulation part of the driving physics here, then we can only talk about those hardcore PC games (which i never tried as i'm not a PC gamer).

On the other hand if you see "sim" as a package in total, simulation of racing, simulation of graphics, simulation of AI, then i guess i can speak my mind here:

I deserted GT, played it since release in '97, stayed loyal to playstation just because of the gran turismo series itself. But all my fustrations with GT5 which i ranted upon here mainly on the forum, hoping PD would actually take note and improve what is still a flawed game, drove me to.. "puts flamesuit on", buy a Xbox and Forza 4.

And after having played it for a week now, i definitely state it beats GT like you can't imagine.

There's only some parts that GT tops over it, and that is in a very minor way the physics (put Forza on simulation steering, and it's almost the same), and the fact that Forza is more american circuit based (miss Monza and Spa) + you don't have no night racing.

For the rest the car lineup is a car fanatics wet dream, the customization options are endless and what is most important of all to me, the AI is on the money, they are fast, agressive and take different lines each time you restart a race (aka not scripted).
This makes for challenging and exciting racing. Add to that a nice damage model and a well thought through race format + DLC being released each month and i ask myself why i didnt make the switch sooner.

As of now my Playstation will serve mostly as a blueray player, for when i want to watch a movie with the misses. :)

In terms of physics, not really. Still lacks good stability.
Other things, depends

I'm sorry, but if you are still trying to say that GT5 has better physics than FM4 than you are ignorant or in denial. I thought that was pretty well known by now...

LOL, mine is in the closet. I'll probably take it out in october and spend forver downloading updates that have no new content.
