You mastered driving without assists?

I personally always tuned when I used to drive with assists, but now that I dont, I rarely want to tune, if i ever need to.

no,... tuning is an art,... it can never be completely mastered I dont think.

There are time when "assists" are vital,.. like accellerating off the line. I promice, in 99.9% of the cars, you'll get a faster start off the line with TCS.

As for ASM, I have no argument there,... it's just plain amature.

You really don't need tcs on a good four-wheel drive car with the variable center differential. Just switch it to 50-50 torque distribution, and your should get a better start than with tcs.

i don't play with assists anymore since my restart ^_^
i just burn out alil with FF and FR cars but it's aite....i can just use analog to fix dat

I use TCS on high powered cars, but never use ASM anymore...it just weighs the car down with higher lap times..

Why TCS on FF? It would be used on RR and MR for me...never FF, maybe sometimes FR.

i find the wheel spin forever on my fiat without.. i only set it on 1 tho. i get more wheel spin on high powered FF cars that on FR 4WD, etc. at the start of races that is.

Excuse my language, but "Heeeellll no!"

After running in OLR for a while now, I've found that tuning is absolutely essential to imporving a car's handling... the difference that one can make is remarkable. Turning off TCS and ASM is, to me, only the first step in tuning a car. ;)

TCS and ASM are out to kill you! or just make you slower. i dropped 2-4 seconds on Trial Mountain immediately after i figured that it was not enough to turn them off; you actually have to set them to 0.

tuning, while it isn't an "art" per se, is totally essential to a car's performance.
