That is amazing. Very nice work!

I saw a lot of amazing HDR shots in here, so I decided to try my hand at it. Seems I've got a stronger taste for heavy shadows and slightly desaturated colors.

Used FDRTools Basic

lancia delta hf, all of those look good, the 300SL and Zonda R especially! 👍

I officially give up on HDR shots in Photoshop CS4 Extended. Whenever I merge it always jacks up the freaking exposure values and will not work. If anybody has a "download" for photomatrix or whatever you guys are using that's free that would be great.

^me too. PS is so itchy to use for HDR images.

If I will get photomatix or something similar, I will tell you ;)

That Chrome Zonda R looks great Lancia Delta HF!
thanks glad you like it

This one looks very good!
The car pops out and the sense of motion is very strong.
seems orange really works with HDR. (mentioned by sixtoes)

thanks buddy, i agree orange seams to work well with hdr

thank you, i really like the 300SL photo the most, one thing i noticed with hdr is how dull the original gt5 photos look when i compare it after hdr has been applied.
hi again guys, some amazing images here. :) I've got another photo. cheers:)

I posted a few HDRs a month or two ago but got busy with school and whatnot. I've had some good GT5 time recently so I was in photomode again and came up with these 2. Normally I use photomatix, but my advertsing professor (a pro photograher as well) told me about NIK HDR Effex so I gave it a go. Lots of really good presets out of the box and really allows for a subtle and realistic look! There's a free trial available, go check it out!

Yea i seem to sometimes do that then when I've had about an hour away from the computer I notice the flaws in my image. Ill fix it up when I've got a little time later. Nice images by the way. Loving that zonda.:) Thanks for the feedback.

After looking through this thread I figured I'd give it a shot. I picked a car & location with a bit too much color but the second one looks decent I think.

My first attempt at some "HDR" shots. Actually "simulated HDR" from iPhoto. Constructive criticisms OK. I am obviously not a photographer, but I enjoy trying.

FOR THOSE HAVING A FEW ISSUES WITH EITHER PHOTOSHOP/PHOTOMATIX:

I noticed that the first time importing into Photomatix the images didn't want to load and the whole program just crashed. also when it did work (only 2 images) then the picture would come up with reiculous colours. So I thought I would give photoshop a go and the same thing pretty much happened. So what I did was take all the images (in the HDR composition) and re saved them all jpegs. After that it seemed to work fine, which meant that the colour mode that sony saves in is different to that of Photoshop/Photomatix. Hopes this helps a few people having problems. also make sure when uploading to web, that you are either using jpeg or png.

Yeah, have this issue, too. I just open the "open"-dialog and click through my pictures to see the one or two, which let the program crash. Just resave them as jpeg in Photoshop and everything is fine
