My second HDR.Photomatix watermark ruins it, but I can't find anything better and I'm stuck with trail version atm.

A question about this dag-nabbit technology called, "HDR". Can one obtain the software capable of making these beautifully styled pics for free, say...on the web?

I haven't tried this software, but I know hdrpad is free. If you try it out, let us see some results. 👍

I like the top-down angle on this; and it's definitely a subtle HDR effect. If you're not going to go with the full version of Photomatix, give Picturenaut a try - it's free, and it looks good. Haven't used it myself yet, but it is free.

That is some nice work, Vspectra - really love the color on this. Nicely done without getting too surreal. Any additional post-processing in Photoshop? Looks like either heavy vignetting or some levels/curves dropped onto the cobbles and background. Whatever you did, it works. :)

I'm trying to do this manually, with not much sucess:

Needless to say, I need to pick my battles - it doesn't work with every picture. :scared:

This is a manual 2x2 photomerge with each pane a 3 exposure HDR made using techniques described in this thread:

Full version here

Unfortunately, nothing I did to the images allowed the manual exposure adjust option to appear during auto-HDR merge: the only way to affect the final output was in the order I selected the images(?!) weird...

Bigger versions please?

I only modified the smaller version sorry, Kelitorous is my old account which got banned for an inappropriate username incase your wondering. I'll be sure to keep the original resolutions from now on

Here's my latest one

Thanks. I've only done adjustments and post-processing in photomatrix. The orange tends to "pop" more though. :)

I've got Photomatix as well, but my results are nowhere near as good as yours. Care to screenshot or tell us the settings you're using in Photomatix?

Great shots though, keep up the awesome work!

I thought your HDR pics looked so awesome so I tried one myself. My first ever attempt at doing something like this so it's not that good ;)
