Plus during installation on your system you are given instructions how to make the Origami (which can be seen on the box-art) from the piece of paper you find in the instruction booklet (I think normal version also should include it).
Just got the normal version, and yes, it includes the origami paper. :) Can't wait to start playing!

OMG OMG OMG

Got my game yesterday from the uk. played around 3 hours, and i love it. It's so tense,

Don't wanna spoil everything so istop talking about the game

Can't wait to get on it after work. It's like a big movie with lots of hours....

How long does it take to finish

How many endings are there

How many trophies you got after the first playthrough???

Just saw there is a trophy for the perfect crime!! interested??? Google. you gonna need the hole story for it

I finished the game in about 10 hours of play, I'd say. Was a lot shorter than i really expected.

Finished the game. Noticed two things.

I had the ending where the Origami Killer is the detective and on the news report they say he's 48. On his gravestone it says 1967 - 2011, which doesn't work out?

Also I'm watching the end credits and the events shown aren't entirely the same as what I did during the game. Would have been cool if they were the same. For example it showed someone dying when they never died.

One of the best games I've played in a while though. :)

10 hours isn't a lot. Did you rush through or tryed out everything?

how do you hide the spoilers, erased mine because i didn't succed in hiding it?

/CHILD OPEN

Someone got the nudity glitch working?

/CHILD CLOSED

I played the story how i played it. There's not really any rushing in this game.

Um, nudity glitch? Just re-play Madison's apartment scene over and over again. Have a blast? 👍

I've only played about 2 hours of this and all i can say is WOW.
There has never been a game to make me show so many emotions whilst playing - totally amazing!!!!

Worth buying a PS3 for just like GT5 is.

I'd say the replayability is very good. You always wonder what the game would have been like if you had chosen another option. I would play from about half way through the game though - even though the build up is good at the beginning to play that part again it is a little boring.

Well I signed up for Gamefly again the other day and this is first on my list. Hopefully I'll have it next week.

So what do you guys think!? I beat the game twice and it was an amazing experience... MLB the show and GOW 3 are next!! PS3 FTW!!!

I finished my first playthrough at the weekend and thought it was a fantastic game. I got the special edition so have got the extra taxidermists episode to play then I'll play it again trying out different choices.

I've got a 2 year old son so it felt quite personal to me and it will probably make it even more difficult to make different choices to my first go.

There's quite a lot of screen tearing and it froze once (on a slim) but it aims pretty high so I can forgive it a few technical glitches.

9/10

I just finished it a little bit ago.

It took roughly 10 hours and I was able to collect 14 trophys on the 1st go a round.
After watching the ending movies,I seen where I could have done some things differently. It's definately a replay game - there are 43 more trophies :nervous: to be had.

I was able to recieve these bonuses :

1. Heavy Rain Prototype - The casting
2. Concept art 1 - 7
3. Making of 1 : - crafting virtual actors
4. Making of 2 : - casting real actors

Does anyone have a link to the full set of trophies to this game ?

Nevermind - found it

Just finished it literally 10 minutes ago. Wow.

I can quite honestly say that was one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Heavy Rain 2 please!

I decided it might be Ethan very early on, then I was considering it being Madison. Did not see it coming at all!

Just replay it. I know I am. It has various endings. I'm curious to see if the oragami killer remains the same. 💡

I have it on good authority that it does. :(

But also:

What happened to Ethan's blackouts? They're never explained and just stop happening when it's convenient...

Okay, I've only been playing this for a little bit, but two big gripes: 1. The camera angles suck. Which is normal for a lot of games. So, it's not overly annoying.

2. The Walk Mechanic. The worst walk mechanic EVER! I know the game is about solving puzzles, but does EVERY time you're allowed to move your character around HAVE to feel like you're in a freakin' maze? Seriously? Thank God forbid you can't get somewhere because your character refuses to go where you tell them to.

Also, some of the button codes are insane. Like press R1 then X Then Triangle, then R2, the circle, square...why on earth does it constantly try to play Twister with your fingers? The story is actually pretty awesome and the concept is great, but I'd rather it just be a rail style game...more choose your own adventure, less move your character here or there...if you can. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah...so far...a 3 out of 5 or 8 out of 10.

The walk controls are they way they are so that you can use the analog sticks for whatever context actions there are. It works, but there should be a way to pan around the character for many places.

Twister with your fingers? I have to admit to using a chin or nose more than once when I wasn't using the appendages they had planned for me to use. I certainly consider Heavy Rain to be at least a 9.

Except you still use the sticks to turn just not to walk forward. Which begs the question: why the heck not? I mean if I use the left stick to turn, why can't I use that same stick to move forwards? Essentially, walking was like walking through a never ending maze, it would be a heck of a lot better. And the button sequencing...is on random. WTF? Who puts a button sequences on random? Then you get the weird, twister-like, cramp inducing button combos in Heavy Rain. Not all of them are on Random. But there there are enough that are to make it irritating. And then there are the useless scenes...or at least scenes that make you go, "Why am I controlling this person?" Like the kid scene. The kid was dead and buried, so you know how that scene was going to turn out, and it teases you with all these opportunities to kill your character, but you know you can't 'cause then it would mess up the whole sequence. And so you just wonder why they didn't make that a long cutscene? Or a short one? I mean, you knew the kids were going to be messing around and Johnny was going to fall in a drain or something and drowned.

And then there's Madison. I mean, what exactly is her part in the whole story anyway? I'm like halfway through the game, and so far she's helped Ethan (kinda important to the story but could be explained off in other ways) and gotten naked. What exactly is her role in the story other than being the sexy woman? I hope she does more than take off her clothes every time you see her and contributes more to the story.

I also love how the guys get all the "maybe if I create a diversion...or complicated missions, and the best idea Madison could come up with for the club was: "Oh, I'll flirt with this guy and shake my ass." In fact, all the women so far have been a little weak.

There are good things about this game, and the visuals are awesome, and the story alone is worth buying the game, but there are some things that kinda ruin the story.

Many friends recommended this game to me. I played the demo over the weekend and that is just not a game for me. I could handle some QTE once in a while but the game literally is ALL QTE. I was doing ok until I got to the part wher I had to walk up the side of the hill past the railroad tracks. Hold this button, then this button, now this button, then this button. I fell down the hill 3 times and said heck with it. Which is a bummer because I was having a great time with the suspensful detective part of the game. If it wasnt all QTE I bet I would have had a great time with it.

The goal is to make you feel as frustrated or as stressed as the character you are playing. It is not a game that works for people looking to watch passively as they make characters do things.

If you think it would work better with motion controls it has been patched for the Move.

I have a feeling Heavy Rain will ultimately be like the MGS series: People either love it or hate it, but their reasons are the same.

This is actually one of the only games I ever felt I HAD to finish. Controls felt a little sloppy but everything else was amazing IMO. I would definitely love to see a sequel of some type.
