have fun,... it's tough

ummmm,... not all vehicles drift the same,.... some are very hard,... some are easy. It's a real 'feal' thing, and it's actually quite frustrating at first.

Actually, I'm competing in an event right now that drifting is virtuallty a necessity.

Lotus 190 fully moded with T8's at apricot hill / run & setting.

Use the sets above, though some will be N/A,.. like downforce (not an option with lotus 190).

Go balls out down the hill into the left turn, breaking at the begining of it,.... imediately down shift to 3rd, while accelling and breaking at the same time (trail breaking) your car will slightly turn into the next curve, you let off the brake and you'll slide right through.

Rallying is also a great way to practice,... the turn that ALWAYS comes to mind when I think about drifting is the s-bend at Tahiti Maze, right off the start,.... slide into that thing sideways and feather the gas,... you'll drift the whole corner.

Drifting is VERY hard,.. but.... can be VERY fun once you get accostomed :D

Good luck racing 👍

Hey, I got RWD and MR and RR drivetrain setups for the LSD but I need help with 4wd, should Initial, accel, and decel all be set down or decel the only low setting and the rest high???

I ALWAYS run LSD at 5/5/5.

BUT,. if you want the ass end to get REAL squirelly,.. turn the LSD accell up to 60 and kickou the rear,... you'll be in for a BIG suprise, lol.

that is a lot of power to drift with. I mainly like having around 400 to 500 hp on my car. It just seems that throttle control is a lot more responsive and controllable then 600hp +.

it drifts fine its just when i try to grip a long fast turn....... what? What would you LIKE it to do,... and I can help you decide what to tune. :D

Miata is 100% correct,. I'd reccomend trying a "lesser" ehicle to get some good practice. As I said before, rallying is a great way to practice. Also,.. that little Lotus I explained about is a little driftin machine,... I highly reccommend trying it:D

the Elise??? or the Espirit, don't mind me it is hard to remember what was posted five minutes ago while I'm at work.

but i like more power so if i need a little more slip i could just tap the gas and i'm sidways. and i need the extra power because i'm running 25%-75% power to the tires and i'm not quite used to 4WD cars.

I'll have to check that tonight, I think I'll run it in a 350Z wih about 488hp, that is the sweet spot for that car. I noticed with that power and the gearing I have for it, I can pretty much hold the accelerator thw whole way through a lap with very little braking. What I think needs to be tweaked are the brake sensitivity. If I can find the final sweet spot for those to make it slow down but not to abruptly compared to what I have, where I can still get by using my brake points, that car would be unstoppable.
