Something is going on with the server. You can't download videos at GTTV, you can't read the news, the weather report is gone and you can't go into the onlince races.

Online is just disabled. The game didn't prompt an update for me.

Yes I noticed that????:odd: I would have thought that a little more information on GT5 direct from PD regarding GT5 would have occured before other media get the information? Anyway the update appears to be gaining momentum, the Citeon pic's are...interesting.:D

does any one recall how long the server was down when they did the august update?
 
They can't be down for too long. It's only a 108MB file, so it hopefully won't take all night to upload it to their servers. I'm just hoping it's ready for the weekend.

i had lost interest with gt5p, with the online punting,
and the TT wall rides/cutting.

bring on the penalties system fix and some more
and better offline races.

oh, and a LOBBY!
 
If we see voice chat, private rooms. We don't need any penalty systems since we are all on mature level here and will play by the rules

The update is happening as i type.. !!

it appears to be moving quickly.. about 10% done in 2 minutes

no countdown timer on mine... NZ PAL .. maybe when it gets closer the the end it shows..

Mine is au pal. The countdown started from about 95% remaining for me. It definitely isn't an accurate timer though. Seems others are catching on to the update because its getting slower.
