You're probably only viewing threads from the last 30 days. You can change this to more days in My GTPlanet, or you can just click on a different number of days near the bottom of the list of threads.

Yeah, I'm probably going to change it to 60 days, though, so it prevents confusion like this. Alot of people seem to miss the option.

Yes, click on "My GTPlanet", and then go to "Edit Options".
