No where near the path of the storm. Clear here.

Anywho, schoolwise, we were settling into our history class after lunch when a kid randomly burst in and assaulted another student. One student tried stopping him, but was punched as well. The teacher had to hold him back (teacher is HUGE, about 6'6''). He was taken out in a police cruiser, he deserved it.

Good news though: First basketball game is tonight!

^ Why did he just run in and start fighting the other person?

But I didn't have school today, nor do I have school tomorrow.

If I hated the kid I probably would have found a way to drop him.

I've gotten virtually no sleep for the past week and now I have to stay up very late tonight (again) trying to get homework done.

My school was like the only one to have school, so I went home early.

They said on the local news that our area was going to get hit hard by thunderstorms and flooding.... It rained for 20 minutes.:grumpy:

I have of of school again tomorrow. I actually want to go back because it's my first day of auto tech when I do. But now I have the new Most Wanted to keep me occupied.

Got three new soda machines today added with a Candy machine. The soda machines were a Pepsi machine, an Arizona tea machine (with my addiction, Arnold Palmer), and a Powerade machine. They are all the really nice ones with that moving container thingy too. The candy machine had Nestle Products, such as Babyruth and 100 Grand.

My school cancelled tomorrow's 2 hour delay..

CAN THEY EVEN DO THAT!?

My school doesn't have delays. Ever. Unless it snows, in which case, they shut down the school immediately.

My school almost NEVER has cancellations or delays. It took 8" of snow in South Alabama with the city closing the roads to cancel a day of school.

They pretty much say that the buses don't have the right tires for snow, and that thanks to the amount of hills, it's treacherous to drive around, so they just close the schools with one or two inches of snow.

Many years ago at a boarding school somewhere in the European countryside we were awoken by a fire alarm. We got to the fire exit only to find that it wouldn't open from the sheer weight of snow outside. The cherry on the cake for this story is that it was the girl who would go on to become my best friend's first night boarding. That didn't have leave a good impression on her...

Just in case you were worried, there wasn't a fire. The fire alarms had a tendency to go off because of random trivial events such as a fly entering the room, people breathing, and somebody using an Oxford commar.

For me we either have school or we don't. Today we had no school since a lot of the town was out of power. Now I have to go to school tomorrow and I do not know what Day it is in the block schedule. All I know it is either a Day 1 or Day 2. Plus I have project due either way and it is not even close to being finished.
