Okay my grades are out.

Honors Precalc- 97.7%
World Lit. II- 95.8%
World History II- 98.4%
Spanish- 99.8%
SAS programming- 91.0% (it's an elective)
Debate- 100% (again an elective, but I'm in PF)
Chemistry- 98.1%

Not bad...

Got my midterm report yesterday:

Currently I have:

76 in BAT4M (Was Previously an Accounting Co-op, Starting Monday it is Co-op at a Small Business :))
83 in BDI3C (Entrepreneurship)
and *drum roll please*
99 in MAP4C (College Math)

Next semester my courses are:
Grade 11 Physics
Grade 12 Data Management (Online Course)
Spare (Yay!)
Grade 12 Business Leadership

And because I'm staying a 5th year and need to graduate next year if I want to be eligible for more scholarships, I am unable to take Grade 12 English till next year.

I'll probably get my report on Monday, or the week after. I got As on both of my English assessments, so I'm guessing my grade for that should be good. I got a D in the Maths exam, which really annoyed me. I revised so hard before the exam and I still got a D, and I'm pretty sure two of my answers are marked wrong when they're right. I was 3 marks off a C, but I still wish I'd done better. I'm sure I got a low grade in my Science assessment, but that's because I didn't finish it. My teacher told me I would've easily got a C or a B if I'd finished it, and it wasn't even a proper GCSE one, so Science is looking good for me, so far. It's just Maths that I'm not happy with. I don't want my grades going below a C... I mean, the college I'm hoping to go to doesn't need any grades at all really, just 'functional' stuff, like 2 + 2 . I'd still like to get some decent results though, more of a pride thing.

76 in English
75 in Manufacturing, which should be a 90 if you look at how hard the stuff I do is.
85 in Math, it's been on the rise for a while now, I expect it to be in the 90's after another test or 2.

Some of the people in my history class make me laugh really hard by how stupid they are. Some kid in my class said Judge Judy is apart of the Supreme Court. I really need to see if I can move up to Honors History. I feel like I will get dumber with the people in my CP class.

Essay due about being 18 and what life's like in America and it 4 pages long.....yaaaaaaaa not doing it.

I ahve an essay due today on the world population. It is suppose to be 5-7 pages.:scared: I just typed 7 Billion, put the font at 500, and there you have it.:sly:

You're telling me, a girl in mine asked "Do American-Indians still exist?"

It carried on to college for me.

Guy in my A level History class.

Nothing bad has happened since the 2nd World War.

It is not just history blunders that worry me though.

Same guy.

To solve global warming drop more ice from freezers on the Antarctic.

Does said guy wear an all in one Nike track suit by any chance? ;)

That's like my friend telling me today at school that he sees better when he puts his contacts in.

Just did my math test. I know I got everything right, except I don't know if I did this right:

(6^x)^x=(36^x)(6^3)

I got X=6.

EDIT: Its wrong...

I was pretty pissed off in geometry today. We were assigned partners for a test (which was only like 20 questions) and of course I got paired up with some dumbass who just copied my answers and didn't do a damn thing. I was however absent for most of the lesson and probably got a C at best so I didn't say anything.

(6^x)^x=(36^x)(6^3)

(6^x)^x=(36^x)(6^3)
6^x^2=(36^x)(6^3)
6^x^2=(6^2x)(6^3)
x^2=2x+3
x^2-2x-3
(x+1)(x-3)=0

x=-1,3

This is, presumably what you did. Mistake bolded.

(6^x)^x=(36^x)(6^3)
6^x^2=(36^x)(6^3)
6^x^2=(6^2x)(6^3)
x^2=(2x)(3)
x^2=6x
X^2-6x=0
x(x-6)=0

x=6,0

(I know this because I made this mistake too trying to solve it.)

When combining (6^2x)(6^3), it should be 6^2x+3, not 6^(2x)(3)

I don't understand anything people are talking about here. Are you sure you guys are in high school?

Especially that math stuff.

*Facepalm*

I am worried about how our generation may turn out? No wars since WW2? Does Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, or the Iraq/Afghanistan War ring a bell?

Good lord people.

This worries me, because not only did this fly right the hell over my head, I'm trying to become an engineer.

EDIT: Should mention, I was able to do this once in the past.

You're on an internet forum, and the people who usually use internet forums are the smart people... Don't worry, I don't understand their crazy letter maths either, math shouldn't involve letters.

You clearly haven't been to the GT5 section :p
