I saw what you were doing. You tried that a few times.
I did a test earlier that day to see if I could make it 20 laps on tires. I barely did. I knew I was going to have to be carefull. Yes, my right rear was wearing faster then the right front. I don't think I could have made it another 3 laps. I really don't like it when the rear wears faster. I slowed down quite a bit last couple laps. I really didn't want to spin out and blow it on the last lap. I'm known to do that. I also purposely tuned the car 'tight' knowing it was going to get real loose when that right rear starts to go.

GT40 maxed out is at 603pp. (I was running half downforce @ front and 3/4 @ rear for Indy) Camaro RM is at 607. The horse power is almost exactly the same, GT40 is lighter. I really don't know the maddness behind PD and their pp system.

I seriously got DC'd at the beginning of the race last night. I was downloading a game on the PC, it must've been using too much bandwidth.

I think a modern muscle group and a truck group is a great idea. Just no Toyota trucks.

@ Skeletor: Torque counts in the PP too.

Hey Cobra, can you get a bigger picture? Or just send me the 16:9 original via PSN and I can take care of it for you.

I also learned german kids get really upset when a silver F-150 beats their subbie race car by 6 seconds on Grand Valley East. With a 550pp limit I was turning 1:04 in it. Thinking about making a Tune Thread for it along with the other Trucks.

ah, yes, I knew that Yoman.

Kal, that's awesome. I was beating LFA's & GTR's with my big yellow Dodge quad cab the other night. Great times. I also learned that people get really salty when I beat thier NSX-R's with my stainless steel DeLorean. I herd "F-ing DeLorean" 100 times in one race.

I posted this weeks race results on the 1st page beneath the rosters.

I have a lot fun last night, starting in the indy races that I dont know how to drive, and the good race in Trial mountain , looky me I have conection server problems before and after the races ,the evel canibal jumps was spectacular I was in a japan car because I forgot to put off road tyres in my muscle american car

I think you should make a tuning garage. Might keep you organized.

Thinking about it. But I dunno. I don't think I am good enough or done enough cars to start a full garage. But I updated the thread take a peek, tell me what you think!

Roster Updated. I'm liking the first Page. Really looks different from any other Series I see, and Skel, great job on the Point thingy!

I could work on the Modern Trans Am Racing Series, or even the Pickup Series. I could propose ideas in this thread.

I was just admiring the first page after Kal's comment above and for the first time I realized there were two Mach 1's in our list, (70 and 71). I mentioned before that I hadn't done much with the Ford's, but I've been slowly trying to add them to my garage as of late. What's the difference between the two and how hard are they to find?

(the difference performance wise)

Opps. that's a typo.......

And far as ideas, I would perfer that only thoughts on this series stays within this page. Not others.

Thanks Kal, I was very happy how that turned out. Never converted a .dwg file in to a picture file before. Learn something new every day.

I'm also pleased with how the front page has evolved. I've looked at other leagues, and there's sooooo much frivilous non-sense information & "fluff", that I honestly can't get bored enough to read half of it. I saw one that had a 12 step program just for the pace lap.

Opps. that's a typo.......

That's a typo too.

Thanks.

Welcome aboard. After you have photographed both cars in the same pic. (2 player arcade & save replay). Just upload it to the XMB, and you can attach it in a message, then send it to Kalmiya117. He will post it on the roster.

Also note to everyone who might be interested in joining; We have plenty of spots open if you want to check it out.

learningcurves welcome to the best and the more friendly thread , to be here only you have to love our American muscle cars

Don't forget it's the thread with the best lookin' first page, too!👍

Did some Pre-Race testing the other night at Trial Mountain. The higher horsepower cars will def be taking a pit stop during races vs the lower HP cars. It surprisingly looks quite even!

I still have alot of work to do with the challenger. Mostly in the Gear box.

Yes, pit strategy is going to make things interesting for sure. I recommend some tire testing to anyone who hasn't done it yet, of the four cars involved last night, none wore their tires at the same time.

I was a little surprised how fast the GT40 burned through the tires after making it 20 laps at Indy Speedway. I wasn't driving it very nice either.

Anyways, there's a chance I won't be able make it this weekend. Got some friends coming up from SoCal. Going to do a little motorcycle trip around Lake Tahoe & surrounding areas on Sunday. If I'm not around, go ahead with out me.

Good Job! I need to start playing with the Camaros Trans now that I am re-realizing it's potential for maximizing a cars ability.

I will be hosting Sunday Night folks. Lounge will open around 6-7 for practice. Race should start around 8-9 with Trial Mountain Group I then going on to Group II @ Grand Valley Raceway.

Of course, I will send out PMs to all I know that participate in the series. (which I think is one of other things this series does none else do)

That's quite a milestone Mudd. It wasn't that long ago Kal & I were struggling & fighting for upper 1:10 lap times at the Forest and took a perfect lap to do . Loosening it up helped me hit the 1:09 club. Also made a lot of my other cars faster. A wiser man then myself once said "Loose is fast and on the edge you're out of control".

Won't be able to make it this weekend also. Traveling up the coast from So-Cal too Skel! Be on the lookout for a black Saturn Sky!
