That's quite a milestone Mudd. It wasn't that long ago Kal & I were struggling & fighting for upper 1:10 lap times at the Forest and took a perfect lap to do . Loosening it up helped me hit the 1:09 club. Also made a lot of my other cars faster. A wiser man then myself once said "Loose is fast and on the edge you're out of control".

Thanks, Skel. As you can see by the other two laps, I was testing the limits there. And I believe that wiser man was Robert Duvall, if memory serves.

Last Nights Totals...I messed up on the first race and did not have the Time Limit set right..
If the order is any different than posted let me know, and I will go back and review the race to get the correct line up!

I surprisingly took pole for both races. Titus edged out on the First race. I spun out before entering the pits, killing several seconds that would have placed me ahead of Titus when he pitted. Needless to say was a great race and I liked how Pitting is not a strategic part of the race.

Also the Night race with the trucks was fun. If not testing. Pictures Later!

Hey you can add me to your roster and give me 21 points for last night as I came in 7th (Group 1) & 6th (Group 2)!!! And next Sunday I was running the Muscle Series at 7pm cdt just for Father's Day and then it will resume at 2pm cdt the following week, just a heads up as I know that will interfer with next week. So next week you can count me out but I will definitely do the remaining races with you guys. And I'll see if my friend is down with this too. He couldn't join your lobby last night :(

Kenkwilinski you are welcome to this serie ,

Motorcycle trip turned out great. If any of you ever get a chance to visit Lake Tahoe, do it.
Looks like you guys had a pretty good weekend.

I've updated the point standings.

One 🤬 point?!? You gotta be kidding. Might as well paint a target on your trunk deck, Titus! :sly:

Been practicing alot of unfamiliar tracks for our upcoming 'Wild Card' race...alot of fun potential there...I have, however, learned that I am incapable of negotiating 90 degree turns!:banghead:

I didn't even know a race happened...

I didn't even know a race happened...

Race every Sunday unless stated otherwise in here, but don't worry, at the end of the season we count the best 6 out of 8 finishes, so missing a race won't hurt your overall.

This coming Sunday should start with G1 cars at Grand Valley 20 laps, followed by G2 at Daytona Road Course 8 laps. Time depending we may try to run G1 Daytona Road Course 15 laps.

We should try to plan on running all 3 races, that way the following weekend is left open for our no-points 'Wild Card' race, and we can concentrate on having fun with it, giving us a break from points racin'

Good idea, I was thinking about that in my sleep lastnight.

 During the couple of hours each night that we are NOT online racing, we are sitting there THINKING about online racing....we may need help...

I don't have a problem with my online racing. It's other people who have a problem with my online racing who have the problem.

when and where is the next race? i was messing around with mudd in a test and tune room the other day and had a lot of fun racing those cars. I always have enjoyed it but dont have much luck finding rooms for it. So if its ok id like to join the next race.

Look forward to having you on board.
This sunday around 7pm eastern. Start with G1 cars at Grand Valley 20 laps, followed by G2 at Daytona Road Course 8 laps. Then G1 Daytona Road Course 15 laps.

We usually only do 1 race from each group each week, but this week we need to "get back on schedule". Make sure you add Kalmiya117 to your psn. Might be a good idea to add me as well.

Just got back around an hour ago and already on GT5! Feels good to be back after a long week. Need to practice though. So if anyone is up for it tonight I can host a room.

Reminder for you folks, Races tonight my lounge. will have room open for practice around 6-7pm EST.

Great racing tonight fellas! Had alot of fun at Daytona tonight. Mudd and I were duking it out in both races. Really proud of my third place in G2 but I'm still trying to work out the Z06. Also a thanks to Skel for a Z06 tune that shaved off 3 seconds in my lap times!

Kal, take me off the list. The races prove to be at a bad time for me week after week. Sorry about that.

Very exciting racing last night, battling with GTMail in G1 Daytona really showed the advantage/disadvantages of car selection. Going through all the technical turning sections, I could pull my Camaro right up to his Vette, even making a pass a couple times, just to watch him sail by me in the straits. After repeating that pattern for a couple laps, I resorted to just keeping my Z stuck in his rearview, forcing him to protect his position and overwork his tires (which I know is easy to do in that big HP Vette). Once I saw the Vette starting to really slide around, I still had enough tire to lay down a couple qualify speed laps and put the gap between us. Very exciting, I really enjoy having to use strategy with the longer lap races we're doing, verses the short lap fast-as-u-can races I had been getting used to.

My Cuda in G2 is still a nasty handful, but I was proud of my efforts in keeping on the track and avoiding any nasty spins, and again ended up battling it out with GTMail, though it worked out in his favor this time, as the Cuda was the one to show the wear first. I think I let myself get a little to excited when I saw what the massive HP of the Cuda was capable of down the straits, and I wore the fronts right off it having to brake so hard at the turns. Fun stuff!

My race week was a little fusturating. After being "yellow lighted" again sunday morning. I won 1st race in G1, but didn't deserve it (Kal disconnected). G2 at road daytona, I got into 2 identical accidents in the bus stop. (sorry cool, sorry CAMikaze). Then I got disconnected in G1 at road daytona. I really haven't played much GT5 recently, been so busy with other stuff. It showed. Rest of you did great.

Looks like I won't be around again on the 4th of July weekend. (weekend after the break). Going gold mining. And I'm expecting to come back a millionaire.

I forgot to bring the score totals to work today. I'll try to remember them tomorrow and update the score board.

The disconnecting issues have been quite frustrating indeed. I've only got the boot once, but I hate seeing the drivers I'm trying so hard to beat get booted mid-race. I still feel like I'm doing well to improve against you guys, but it's kind of a hollow victory if your names are not in the race results.

I had forgotten about the 4th coming up. It may be difficult for many of us to race that night. The 4th falls on Monday, I'm thinkin' there's gonna be a bit of celebrating going on at our regular race time.
Should you come back a millionaire Skell, I hope you remember your fellow racers and maybe pick up a few updated 'slim' PS3's and some high speed modems!:D

I had a new lesson , how to race with guys faster than you. just try to did it better I practice all last week and my laps was faster but not enough to be in the front pack, and I had a lot of fun even at the back , hope to will be more good times, keep walking.
skell I was very angry but have no problem , all is fine.great races with all of you guys

Again, I apologize. I did the exact same thing to both of you in the exact same spot. Maybe if I tried it a 3rd time, my plan would have worked.

Would it be a better idea to push the "wild card" races to the 4th of July weekend? And do week 5 next week??

hey in what track we will race the next , I want to know for practice .thanks

sorry i missed it, sounds like it went well. Stuff came up at the last min, ill try and make the next one though.

Well this is rather disturbing considering that the Cobra has no suspension, LSD, or tranny tunes... and that was only my second lap. Looks like I have found a G2 car next season and it's gunna be a screamer.

Coolracer, we are supposed to pick the Wild Card track on the day of the race, so it will be kind of a surprise, though we may discuss swapping the dates, not sure yet. Until it's decided, practice Deep Forest, that's our next scheduled track, and it's gonna be a very fast paced race there.

Actually, next weekend is suppose to be the wild card event. I did not think about holidays. If you guys want to do a either a Wild Card next weekend, or do Deep Forest for points, and then skip a weekend for the 4th then do the wild card fine with me. Long as everyone agrees. The great thing about this race series it's principles work very much like the original constitution. The ones who take care of the things are just people who take the general needs/wants and put them into action.

I also was extremely peeved about the weekend and being disconnected. I was doing well in saving my tires, and either I was keeping ahead of Skel, or he was doing the same. (I was thinking he was conserving tires as well) I was going to have enough tread for the pending all out shoot out of last two laps I was planning on happening.

Then on Daytona Skel dropped out and which kinda ruins things more cause how can I develop a strategy with tire wear, and pits when a similar car like mine isn't running? I also like the extended laps and tire wear. Last 4 laps were an all out doozy trying to keep it straight and catching titus after I had pitted.

This makes for two races (G1) I got dropped (Indy where I was in second with a decent lead) and then the Grand Valley (G1).

I believe the Challenger in both Groups 1 & 2 are showing how well they can run. Once we get into the Shorter tracks I expect the Camaros to shine much much more.

Camaro should be in the 1:15:XXX -1:13:xxx RANGE!
