It's good to keep on mind that the actual race pace is much slower than what individuals run by themselves for qualifying and practice, especially the first few laps when the pack is still somewhat together. Once the cars spread out small groups of two or three cars begin putting fast laps down with the help of bump drafting. Even at this point the front runners are usually not pushing it very hard through the corners and make up for the lost time by bump drafting. This allows them save their tires while not losing much - if any - time.
Also, we are all on the same track so everyone's tires are going to feel the wrath of Suzuka.
TorzillaWhat are the rules reguarding coming out of the pit? Do I have to stay within the line even if there are no cars coming?
Is that a proper question?
Sorry Mule, I got stuck at work and it looks like I'll be here for a couple more hours; so I'll probably have to pass until tomorrow. I probably won't be online until after 11:00PM EDT at this point. I apologize for the inconvenience.
MÜLE_9242;5859271@Welsh, A tip that Turbo gave us for the Season 1 race at Suzuka, was to not go full throttle at all unless the wheels are basically pointing straight. The race distance is also longer than last season, so everybody will surely be stopping at least twice.
MÜLE_9242;5862047Are you going to be around at all tomorrow?
MÜLE_9242;5862095That should work for me.
To be honest, I never really thought of a cutoff. I guess for this week there wont be any real one, and I'll make one up for next week.
Mule EDT isto me in GMT?
