And eagles and stars and Lady Liberty. And the elephant or the donkey (I forget which one is Republican) and a red livery.

I really hope McLaren don't go for another silver livery. They don't even have the Mercedes connection any more, and last year's car looked barely distinguishable from the Tyrrell from some angles.

The Tyrrell? I didn't know they were still a team. :lol:

If the Mclaren nose actually looks like this:

I will go bonkers... :drool:

It won't, the new rules do not allow that nose length from what I've read.

I would love either orange or red and white. Red and white won't happen though as they don't have sponsorship from Marlborough.

Tyrrel --> BAR --> Honda --> Brawn --> Mercedes

:cheers:

If you really want to go a smidgen further, you could tenuously add:
Matra (led by Ken Tyrrell from 1968-69) --> March (most of 1970, as their chief customer car entrant) --> Tyrrell (09/1970 through 10/1998)...

Force India could trace itself back to Jordan --> MidlandF1 --> Spyker...

Red Bull can go back to Jaguar, and earlier Stewart; Toro Rosso claims Minardi.

And of course, Lotus (II) <-- Renault (II) <-- Benetton <--Toleman

Definitely. The problem is that it doesn't really go with anything, unless a company is willing to have their name and logo appear in different colours.

And the most funny one: Sauber --> BMW --> Sauber ;)

An unexpectedly black and green livery it is then.

Anyway, are certain paint colours advantageous to run from a cooling perspective?
