which do you think is best: Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Street Rods, Tuners, prototypes, custom trucks?

I would like to go into prototype car design so id say that but currently my budget and means make it easy to make myself a tuner. So for now id say tuner.

Would this also fit the Restomod category? I love Restomods. And this reminds me of one. Mostly stock look. But under the looks are up-to-date stuff. I always wanted my '65 Mustang I had to be done that way.

Yeah, all the styles of hot rodding cross over a bit.

I think of restomod as building a car how the factory would have done if they had todays modern suspension, brakes, EFI, while keeping the spirit of the car.

That Chevelle, with a 540 cid big-block, is a little more mod than resto

Anyway, I voted for Hot Rods, Street Rods, Tuners, and Concept vehicles, mainly because they all are very cool. I love the classic looks and supeb craftsmanship of high-end hot rods and the compltely custom aspcet of many street rods, tuners (of the performance variety) because of their performance and engineering and all that, and concept vehicles--which are the pinnacle of custom for me--because they completely pwn any type of custom vehicle. Especially the runners. A perfect blend of car-manfacturer engineering and millions worth of design, produciton, and assembly. Chip Foose is damn good, but FoMoCo does customs just that much better, ya know?

Likewise, I know what a rat rod and a hot rod is, and a fishing rod , but I don't know much if anything at all about the others.

I think that would be a rat rod if it had a label. Sure, it's shiny and stuff, but the mods scream "old school" and such. The owner is like a rat newbie, and not hardcore, like the truck up a few posts.
