I usually wash my car when I change the oil.  I figure if I'm good to my cars here they will be good to me on the track.

A clean/waxed car has less wind friction and therefore goes faster.  Logically speaking of course.

BTW - good looking cars always go faster.

Changing the oil every race doesnt do anything but waste money.  Changing the oil only helps when it tuirns brownish-green.

With the Chromalusions paint on the TVR's the cars look like $#|+ if you don't wash them frequently.

I wash my cars every Saturday, change the oil every Monday.
The inspections I handle every other Wednesday, once a month I go and
buy new tires. Every oher month I go and vacuum the inside  - my
girlfriend keep compaining about the dirt! Every 3 month I get a new scent
, usuallly Vanilla.
U see, I love my cars!

I use the carwash.  If i do an endurace a change my olil before and after and carwash before and after.  
The I change my oil when nescessary and the same with the carwash
