If the car cannot be guessed then the person who posted posts another. I've been putting off googling the Simca for a while but have just done it, I reckon it's a 1000 Coupe by Bertone.

It is the Simca 1501 Coupe by Heuliez.

Perhaps my challenges are too, well, challenging.

Pushrod - should I retreat and sulk? Will I be capable of identifying the next Japanese tin can? It might be something impossible like a Nissan Micra.

Nah, keep the challenges challenging, I was just being lazy putting off googling! Thought my guess wasn't quite right but thought it was worth a go to keep game going. I reckon we should be nice and give Darin a chance as long as it's a decent challenge. Considering how long this game has been going we should have a fair chance (famous last words )!
