Well Milefile has to do something n00bish once in a while. But on a different note, the 350 zooming around in the Battle Of Midway. Quite a funny thought.

wow, this is a nice car. only 671hp fully modified? with stage 3 turbo i was around 600hp. didnt play much tehre, but got 106.4xx. with stage 4 im around 1060hp. 102s would be possible with my current tuning, but i keep messing up and dont feel like killing myself over it now. 1:03.335 is best.

I haven't driven it with stage four much. I'll have to give that a shot on Midway... I mean Midfield.

Slapped a basic setting on a dealer bought new Lotus 350, did all mods (except stage 4 turbo), changed oil, super softs, threw a basic setting on it and went for a drive. Took 5 laps (2 of which were used adjusting the tranny to get a rough overall setting) to run a 1:05.601 clean (usual OLR rules, 2 tires, no touches). I saved the replay if someone wants to see it (have no idea why).

1:04's are doable as is, 1:03's with some setting changes (pushes a little).

Didn't bother with the 1000+hp version.

I just love that car. I ran a clean 1:05.623 after 15 laps on it with the same set-up, I did correct a bit the oversteer and the tendency to lose traction on the bumps of the last curves, but I'm not very good with suspension set-ups, I'm sure it could be much better.

I'm not consistent enough. I often run very quick through some sections (more than .5 sec faster than my current record), only to mess it all up after by completely missing an apex.

Cool. Glad to see some interest.

The long, tightening left after the tunnel is the killer for me. I still haven't figured, after all these years, exactly where the apex is. Too many times I end up drifting out to the right and into the dirt, or hugging the rumble strip too tight and spinning out, depending on the car.

I did improve my time some. I'll post it later tonight when the PS2 is fired up.

Stage 4 turbo is overkill on this car, IMO.

I find going 0% throttle until you see the straight to help keep it clean, but I've yet to take that corner at it's maximum possible speed yet. I'm sorta interested in this, I'll have to give it a shot if I ever get Red Dead Revolver outta my PS2.

I didn't think I'd get it but I drove into the :04's just now.

i got a 106.116 within about 8 laps. i didnt really change the setup on the car at all except the diff and tranny. im sure i could get well into the 1.05s.

edit: got up to 15.700
