How come all the cars in the dealerships dont add up to 1000+ ?

Not that i have counted, but the veyron, and many other cars arent in the dealership section. Do you have to win them? Do you have to be a certain rank to see all the cars?

Used car lot cycles every day. There are lots and lots of cars that will only show up there. Also some prize cars that are not in the dealerships.

Some cars will only be available as Used cars (and therefore appear randomly in the Used Car Dealer screen) and others will only be available as prizes.

I guess the 1031 total also includes some preorder/CE cars too - and you won't be able to get those in game without the DLC codes.

Dealerships only contain Premium cars. Used car dealerships contain most of the remaining Standard cars. The other Premium/Standard cars are awarded as prizes for events and eleven (all Premium) were available as preorder and limited edition bonuses.
