I've already searched the forums and I can't find the answer to my question. I've saved my photos to the XMB menu and I want to put them on my flash drive. How do I do that?

Select the photo you want to copy, press triangle and choose copy to the usb stick.

Copy the image over to a USB stick, upload it to Photobucket, and then upload it to the forum if that's what you're planning on doing with the photos.

There is also a very good tutorial somewhere of the forum that I think I've seen before but I don't know where it is...

Triangle > Copy > Select external device, via USB stick.

I've tried that already. However, after I hit the triangle button and select copy the PS3 goes to a screen that says," please insert a flash media device in the upload slot" or something alone those lines

You can also upload the photo to Facebook and copy-paste the image address

Let me tell you how and provide a warning.

If you have a USB Flash Drive or some other form of external media drive, just plug that into an available PS3 USB slot. Make sure you don't have any games running or anything because you will be unable to have a game or program playing in addition to porting over material to your flash drive.

Now let me warn you of something. If you have multiple pictures from a certain track, when you try to save over your material, please re-name your files. Otherwise, you'll save over them with a similar name. I really wish GT5 would allow you to better name your files without needing to name over them manually. To me, if you have a bunch of files that are named "Cape Ring," I usually name them with something different. For example, "Cape Ring-A," "Cape Ring-B," and so on. Or, just completely re-name them to something different so that the pictures don't overwrite when you try to port them over to your external media device.

So there you have it.

Ya it's really quite easy. After that once you get it on your computer you can manipulate it with Photoshop or whatver program to your liking.

Manipulating the images is what I usually do. That's how I share my content on Facebook and in my Gran Turismo blog.
