how do u transfer data from one user name to another??

so my bro wants to change his gt info from one user to another on the ps3. How can he do it? Plus, when he does will it delete the original one?

You can't. The data is keyed to each individual's psn id.

I think he can start a new user on the other PS3 with the same PSN ID then load up the save from the 1st PS3... It should be possible.. But im not 100% sure...

its the same ps3, but different names.

You can use the same id on multiple ps3s so you can take a memory stick to a friends and play it, but you can't use the same data for more than 1 id. It's called gamesharing and Sony specifically forbids this. It will get you banned from psn.

You make an account, it's called GTP_FASTRACER but you keep losing so you feel guilty having such a sweet name. You then go and make a new one, GTP_LASTPLACE, because you feel it is more appropriate. You can't transfer all of your progress from the GTP_FASTRACER account to the new one, but you can gift cars. 👍
