Okay, how do you get the prize car you want in a series race???? I heard there was a way, but I forget! Someone help! Oh yeah, be descriptive (step-by-step).
you'll hear lots and lots of BS about pressing X when the car has a shadow underneath it..you'll get this 'tip' on the internet and in magazines...there is however no proof that it works and its generally accepted by the folks on here (the most knowledgable GT geeks on the whole internet) that its utterly random...listen the the two previous posters on how to achieve the car you want...
Well...the first answer is search. You might also want to narrow down your search to the thread titles only. Search for save and reload.
But, I'm a nice guy, so here's the short version:
Say it's a 10 race series. Kick azz through the first 9 races, save your game. Start the next race (the tenth and final one). By "start" I mean press the start icon and let the lights flash and the buzzers buzz. Once the race starts, quit it. If you have enough of a point lead, you win the series (but not the 10th race). Then, you get your money and car. If you get a cruddy car, go back to the GT3 main menu and go to "load game." Load up your saved game, and it puts you back right where you just won the 9th race. Then, start the 10th race......
