Just in case any of you haven't seen this yet:

It's the follow-up features list of - the "revelations interview" translated by my Fiancee. [you should Google her name, by the way].

So I just read the original website & the translation is very good (not that I doubted you, I just wanted to read it for myself).

On another note, I hope we get partial rain. If we're racing in La Sarthe, Nuerburgring or Spa, it would be cool if it was only raining in certain parts of the track.

I guessing if where getting rain, then combined with cockpit view, looks like operable windshield wiper are probable.

:)

Weather=yes!
Time= Only for 24hr races.
i agree with this... i dont want to race 4 laps and go from night to day in that time period.

Look at it this way.

IMO, the only reason precipitation is thrilling in a race is because of the imminent and ever present danger of losing control and....crashing your car.

You take damage away and it's not as thrilling anymore...
I want it for the eye candy...

If PD puts it in, it'll be real time day/night shifts, not like some games where the sun goes up and down every 2 minutes.

I voted VERY IMPORTANT, I would really like to see the GT series be taken tot he next level by adding these features.
They would add so much strategy and car setups that have to be suitable for both rain and dry...on tracks like Nurburg 24HR!
Bottom line is that it would add a far greater sense of realism to a series that is already brilliant.:D:tup:

hmmm, just thought of something:

Rain + GT5P AI + Damage = 16 beat up cars finishing

I'm suddenly starting to doubt whether I want weather and damage... :)

In fog in real life driving, you switch on the fog light and also spotlights if you own them, for increased visibility so with foggy weather it's imperative that these work for visiblity and safty.If the weather has become foggy during a Touring car race, all exterior lights should work so you are visible to other drivers & it's an impending warning that the race could be stopped.One idea i thought of is, you go back to the pit garage refuel, maybe change the wheels + tyres, remove or fix damaged parts etc, if driver fatigue is part of it then a refill of the drink bottle is in need ( implemented to specific cars here ).Also because weather = dirt/grime, all the windows, door mirrors & lights could be cleaned by animated pit crew.In other words the pit crew & your team mate have time until the weather is good enough, to help prepare the car.Could also be a way of skipping the bad weather without pressing start to skip, the other driver can then enter the race.

Would be very nice, but is not needed.

My opinion is that Time of day as well as Weather effects have to be present in the REAL Driving Simulator. This will make the long time races even more realistic. 👍

Important, i would of course buy the game without it, but both would add a lot to the experience.

Well most races start at midday either way, but there's nothing like lapping\racing the 'gring into the sunset, show up at 6 and race into the night. One of my favorite things about GTR2 that i really hope to see in GT5.

Both weather\day-n-night would be cool but will love GT5 either way!

Driving at night time, in the rain on the 'Ring would be AWESOME! (My number one thing to do in GT)

Hope it changes during races so you could tippy-toe around on slicks when it starts to rain!
