How many times can you use a paint chip bought from mileage exchange?

Can someone explain the paint chips. When you save the livery you get the option to set none, one colour, two colour or 3 colour type. But when it comes to painting your car you can't add 3 different colours? Otherwise all you can do is mess with the numbers. As soon as I pick a special paint and set it to solid, metallic or pearl I can't seem to tweak it without moving the colour pallet to a different colour therefore deleting the flakes or metallic as soon as i change the colour. Hope I explained myself clearly. So how to use the painting pallet and set up a two tone or 3 tone paint?

That refers to the little thumbnail image that shows up in various menus.

The colour palette only applies for solid, metallic, and pearl paints. Special paint chips picked up from the Mileage Exchange are specific colours/paint styles, and cannot be edited. It appears they're a mix of manufacturer colours, PD-designed hues, and aftermarket ones.

Right. I though the special paints couldn't be edited. Thanks Mr Admin dude.
