How much cash is in your wallet?

$38 - That's pretty typical for me. I don't use cash, ever, unless a credit card is not an option. I've paid for items that cost significantly less than $1 with a credit card.

Cash doesn't give me cash back.

I rarely carry cash, since I don't have very many opportunities to use it. Every place accepts the card, so why bother?

When I do use cash, it's not much. I'll usually pull out $40 or $50, depending on what I need it for, and some of it typically gets spent right then, so I'll carry twenty bucks or so. A few weeks later, it'll be gone, and I'll go a few more months before pulling any more cash out.

Up until last week, I had three dollars in my wallet that had been there for months. I mean, what can you buy for three bucks? Not much. Left it as a tip for the girl who cut my hair.

It's all about the Hamiltons, baby. I usually carry at least one and some singles. In case you were wondering, my wallet doesn't accomidate Nickels very well. (Jefferson reference ftw.)

Speaking of money, why isn't John Marshall on any kind of mass-produced legal tender? It's an outrage!

Yes, I'm nosy..:D

Ciao!

Probably about $500-600, but I don't carry my wallet. Usually, I have about $20- in my pocket for lunch.

I think there is about $20 in there last time I checked. After lunch and Christmas/Hanukkah shopping, I've pretty much had to rely on credit cards. And I have plenty of those...

Now, $25, £10, 10 euro. That's after I took out the 5 twenties i had in there for about a month.

I have foreign currency because I went to France last summer and England two summers ago. Figured I might as well carry their cash.

If everythings goes well, I'll think about it to plan a trip to Norway.

You should give it a try, the landscape of Norway is seriously underestimated I think these days, you can find some of the most beautiful pieces of nature around here 👍

Kids and bills cleaned me out and I have a tenner (£10) left for the boozer tonight :p better get on the wifes good side to buy the drinks I guess ;)

I usually only carry $10-$20. Enough for lunch for a few days.

THe only time I have real cash in my wallet, is payday. Even then, it's only long enough to go from bank to bank and then sit down with the bills.

I just put about $125 bucks in there. I don't really carry that much cash in my wallet. I usually have a money clip for my cash, which is usually $700 to $1,200.

I never understood the real purpose of a money clip. If you have your money clipped with that, then now there's two things you have to watch out for, your money clip AND your wallet.

I don't know. I don't really see how convenient it is. I mean, how much time do you loose when you take out your wallet, open it, and take out money and vou lá...

You're also more likely to loose a clip than a wallet. It's lighter and smaller, therefore it can easily fall off your pocket.

Ciao!

I have £20.22 at the moment, just sold a book to a mate :) ... had more but spent it last friday.. :sly:

..... The joys of being a student!

Getting married will change your cash-carrying habits!!! I used to keep about a hundred dollars on me. Never spent it, was just able to carry it in case I saw something I HAD to have, or needed cab fare or a tow.

With the wife and kids always "I need a twenty, you got one or two?" With no cash in my pocket, I no longer have any cash available for them. Works well.

I use the debit card for EVERYTHING. Even fast food these days. Of course, the only problem is being tracked by THE MAN, with every transaction recorded.

Thats exactly what I would have said. Heck...I use a business card holder for my plastic because I hate that FAT wallet feeling in my pocket. IF I have cash...it gets folded in the front pocket.
