That's cool, I was just curious.
My sons are about your age, and if I get good, intelligent things from others that are in the same age group, I use them as "ammo" to keep my guys from doing stuff they may regret.

But isn't that part of growing up? Realizing your parents were right? I couldn't imagine growing up having no idea if they were right or not because I always just did what they said.

I believe Belethdolien is a "lady", so any information might act contrary to your wishes... :D

16 year old female on a GT3 forum... Wow - never thought I'd see the day. Pity I'm nearly-espoused. And too old. And 1500 miles away. And ugly. Rats.

I don't think I understood how to speak to girls until I was about 25. And when I say "speak to girls", I mean treat them correctly, concentrate on them as people, individuals, with rights and brains and opinions, which should be respected.

To be fair, I agree with you on this one. Having never had a girlfriend (All the Yanks in here shut their traps.....NOW!) I have managed to watch other people go before me and so I can make judgements on how I could do it right (relationships here btw ;)).

But in relation to the topic above - it is definitely a greater temptation to ignore a girls feelings, with the only feeling going on somewhere only the participants should know.

I havent reached that part of my life yet.
Will I wait until I get married, or will I not?
I dont know, time will tell. I just flow on with life.

I'd probably advise the opposite, especially in the case of "teen love" - that thing we all have when teenagers when we're "in love" with someone... For "girls", losing their virginity hurts (and I'm reliably informed that second and third time isn't so much fun either - and I should add that my informant had been banging away for 2 years before she met me). For "boys", it's more a case of awkwardness.

Think of it this way - losing your virginity is having sex. Making love is what you do with the person who's worth it.

Find someone, bang 'em, then look for someone worth making love to (and this applies also to any virgin ladies who may be frequenting a Gran Turismo-based forum site).

(and 17, meh, no, no - and her mother failed to entrap me, but succeeded in snaring the next poor bugger... Bunch of psychos)

Yeah I can see your point. Though when I said, someone that means something to me, I didn't really mean as far as a 'teen relationship'. I just meant, not some random ugly dog that I'd just meet from clubbing.
To be quite honest I'm either too freindly with girls and end up being 'too good mates with them for anything to happen' or the rest of them I do get some where with I in advertatly (sp?) just before the act end up treating them like poo :O . Anywayz, I'm quite amased this thread hasn't been spoilt by some pratt, with a mentality of a 5 year old. And I agree with you Giles in the fact that you should treat a woemen with respect, which always pisses me off when some mates of mine treat them like crap and still pull the best looking ones :irked: .

It's because I scare them away. I'm a hard muddafukka.

gil If you want "ammo" go get one of those STD ilustrated books ;) works like a charm.

Actually, Over the years, the guys (the oldest being 18) have discovered that while I may be "old", my words of wisdom, and experience ring pretty true. Don't get me wrong, I have on occasion done my best to scare them out of doing stuff.
Usually this is learned by either doing the thing I've told them not to, and getting bitten on the ass. Or by seeing one of their friends do the thing I told them not to do, and getting bitten on the ass.

Also, when I've given them an idea of a path to take, it almost always ends up with them ahead of the game.

Plus in an unprecedented parenting move: If I don't have a clue how to proceed, I'll tell them that too.:D

I had the wonderful opportunity to 'grow up' with my older children. The three oldest were born before I turned 24. We learned a lot about life together.

I'm sure you make a great father! @ the I don't know thing. How many kids do you have total? lol any of em on GTP?

Speaking of seeing other people mess up...my former high school had the highest pregancy rate out of any high school in the entire US! we had baby seats on all our buses and a full time daycare center and parenting was a class... I always thought they should call child protective services if they failed parenting class....

I have six sons.
Thank God! I have no daughters. I know there are men out there that are good fathers for girls. I also know I am not one of those guys.
See if I had a daughter, and she was one of the statistics of your High School, there would be a pair of testes in formaldehyde in jar on my mantle.
Hopefully, my sons are learning that there are guys like me out there that are raising girls. (ref: the country song "What was I Thinking")
I'm already teaching them the proper approach to endear themselve to these dads. And keeping their cojones out of that jar on the mantle.

Welll, I put my $.02 in earlier, now here's the otherr $.98:
For the one thing, I am in a good christian home, and can't keep secrets of the kind from my parents (and chances are that that kind of thing would get me out of the house). Also, from what I've heard, waiting for this kind of thing until after marriage is the way to go. You see, I've read my share of articles on the topic, and ithas been scientifically proven that whenever you sleep with someone (in that way), you become connected; your brainwaves altered slightly and permanently. So in essence, you're giving up a part of yourself to them (and they to you). However, if you end up splitting up, that part of you that they took away will never be yours again (it won't ever be anywhere near you again). So, this is why you want to wait until you're with someone you've vowed to spend the rest of your life with. A third reason why I want to wait (kind of a blessing actually) is that people in my region don't consider me attractive...at all. I mean, I could show you people my pics (I mean facial and pics from dances that I've been to and such; and I'm sure you would agree that I'm not top material), but what would that do? This "blessing" has allowed me to not even be temped into this stuff (I've never even had a girlfriend or even kissed a girl in that way before; although I do have some of the closest friends of the female variety I have ever had...). Well, I'm still trying to find love and commitment before anything sensual happens. When I get married (years away), if this place is still around, I will let you guys know...

Just the one pair? :D

👍 jpec <----- I spelled it right :D stand up for what you belive in. There arent many people out there who are like you.

Gil...there is a family that lives nearby, weve been friends since we were 5 or 6 we go on vacations together and even used to live next to each other in oregon before we moved here. Anyway their family has 8 girls and 1 boy. THe boy is tha baby of the family and is about 3 years old. Anyway as far as I see I'd rather have only 2 kids, 1 girl and 1 boy. the boy and girl things means they wont argue over clothes, girls get lower insurance rates, boys like cars (I hope) and if i had just boys or just girls they tend to argue. Another reason for having 2 is no middle child :D but I guess this won't be up to me....

Well, not yet. I had a chance but gave it up because of all the stupid crap that could go wrong...a kid, etc. etc.

So all do is kiss girls...nothing crazy. ;)

They'd be there as a reminder of the dangers of separating my baby girl from her clothes...before I can call you son, and mean it.
I figure one pair would be enough. (especially if they knew the "guy")

Of my six sons, There is ONE that likes cars like I like cars.
The rest see them as "tools of transportation"

I keep wondering where I went wrong...

ONE of the others is getting into GT3 Though.
I just offered to save him some ghosts to chase, and he was sorta interested.

18. No. No. Not really, those times don't mean anything to anyone else now. No.

That was easy.

I plan on doing it soon. But I dono, I'm still young.

There are a few people in my grade/school that have ****ed hard hard.

So whatever. I'm gonna find somone special first.:)

I never planned it to happen. It was perfect when it happened for me.

She and I were on her bed making out and she ended up on top of me and we continued to make out. After a couple of minutes she stopped, looked at me, and said, "Matt, I'm ready." It was the sweetest thing ever. She and I have no regrets. We're still together and loving each day we spend together.

Here is something concept said a while ago:
Sell one of your testicals. You only need one. They'll sellfor about $52,000 each. I was watching 20/20 one night and saw a brief segment about it.

so if you're ever broke pull out the jar and sell em

Um, it's not really something you plan out. That is unless you are paying for it.
 But as a man, you have to be ready at all times, at any place, and uh, have a game plan. A lack of inhibition helps, too.
