How to catch my car shooting flames

i want to get a picture of my car shooting flames but cant seem to ever get it. ive gotten it onece when i paused it but not when i put the camera on it. is there a trick? thanks

I do it like this.
Go to a race and watch your car's revs and when it shoots out flames. Then when replaying, you kind of know when it's going to happen.

Just drive a lap making it flame constantly (lift off the throttle in 3rd at a high RPM, find where it bangs, then keep revving it above that and lifting off) and when you watch the replay you should catch at least one.. (thats why the replay feature needs control over the play speed and rewind)
