do you guys have any suggestion on how to prepare for live events ? apparently the format of live event is 3 laps with the best lap that counts .....do you have any suggestions ? does anyone here plans to take these live events seriously ?

I can't think of much you can do to prepare for it except for one thing. You'll be under pressure when you do it since you'll only have 3 laps and lots of people around, so just make sure you won't break under pressure.

Never been to one so I don't really know, but from what people say it seems to be forced on? Someone else might be more helpful!

There is so much you can research on these forums that will speak volumes of advice for you @drspeedy . Just look, if you want a good idea of what they like to throw at you, watch our livestream of the US event last year:

And in 2012:

Some territories will not have live events.

From my experience in the National finals, its best to be prepared driving in any car, and in every condition. Expect them to have racing in night time, in the rain, and in reverse tracks.

Hell, i would go as far as to say we might even get to drive GT7 in the finals, because thats what we did in 2013 finals before GT6 was released.

EDIT: For reference, we drove the Delta Wing in Matterhorn short for the bracket seeding qualifier.

Which reminds me, I need to learn how to drive stick  . Atleast one advantage is they'll use the newer version of my actual car in the regional finals.
