HSR ZO6/GT-R/F430 bias

Does PD have something against the Corvette ZO6? Because it always starts last at the online HSR race. (and I always seem to start dead last...)

IDK but the ZR1 just killed the GTR at nurburg so I wonder if it will be able to do it in game or will Poly "tweak" it so there car will still be the best.

There is a clear bias in this game pertaining to the GTR its like the F333 of Forza.

I wouldn't call kill. But watch out for the new NSX and even when Nissan come up with the V-spec version of the GT-R. Btw, the Z06 at Nordschliefe us about 13 seconds off the current GT-R pace.

I think Id like to say that the Vette is undrivable for High Speed Ring.

You can't et the car to slow down enough or get it to turn while braking and oh yes, it has a very bad oversteer..

It is just not a good car for that track. Its a pile..👎

The problem I have with it, is you can't keep any momentum with the car...on the straights its the fastest car. But in the corners.. = Crap

I should said P.W.R instead of PWR. Power Weight Ratio.

Cause GT-R does have the worst P.W.R among the three and Z06 could have the best so it always starts last.

In one race on Sunday night I was in the GTR and started in 12th position, dead last behind a Z06 and 8 or so Ferraris and a couple of GTRs. I never got past the punters. Only happened the once, but I guess PD thought I was running just a little too hot for the competiton in that race.
I feel the Z06 can be a winner of this event in the hands of a very good driver. Unfortunately, I am not one of those but I watched GTP_nd4holdenspd take a very worthy second in a race last night starting from 12th position. It must have been a great drive and I was sorry to not to be close enough to get a look. Another punter had put paid to any chance of that. Great drive GTP_nd4holdenspd and my respect for sticking with the Vette. 👍
I feel that any bias in this event is towards the front of the grid regardless of the car. If you can get away from the punters then you'll most likely have a good race and finish on the podium. To come from beyond the halfway mark in the starting order and finish on the podium is a major feat and won't be repeated often due solely to the disgusting behaviour of a lot of the participants. If it weren't for the punters I'd put some work into getting up to speed in the Vette but as it stands it isn't worth the pain.

it seems like no mater what happens PD always make sure the GTR has success, Nissan must have given them a good chunk of change, they always tweek things in favor of the GTR, I mean from what I can tell the GTR is now the car to beat in 750???????? really I dont buy it, I know this is an epic car and has shamed cars 3 times it price but whats next are they going to make it competitive in the F1 race???

If there's a GTR in the race it will start first, I haven't seen hardly anyone use the Z06's but yeah they start towards the back with the F430's. I thought it might have been bias too but I mean when I first started racing in that race everyone was using the GTR because it has been the superhero car of the game thus far, however the F430 seems to be a significantly superior car on that track and now everyone is using the F430's. I might get in the Z06 again for a race or two just for the novelty of it!

The Zo6 is fun to drive and I only use Zo6's becuase the noobs think they are GODS because they drive the GT-R, and the F430..mehh..just don't like that car to begin with lol..

F430 is the most balanced car in the race. Good power, good turning in ability even under breaking. The Z06 understeers alot under heavy breaking. and i heard that cars are organized by how much PP. So if a stock Z06 has more pp than GTR it will start at the end of the grid

I have met 2 GTPers using Z06 on Saturday. They are pretty quick and get themselves 3rd and 4th. I tried both GTR and F430. GTR can't be faster than F430, but there is a guy really know how to drive his GTR. He beats all F430 every race

i've had quite a few goes with the Z06 online and found it a fun, easy car to drive (G25 user). I've won a few with it, but even if i get punted or held up, i can 'always' close the gap to the leader, so I'd assume I can do some of the races fastest laps. I have a similar experience with the F430, but not tried out the GTR.

you hit the nail there man,compairing a 680hp corvette with a 480hp gtr is like compairing a porsche 911 standard with a 911 turbo....
as someone allready said,the corvette z06 is probably just as fast on the same day/same time as the gtr,so THAT is a good compairisment.....

anyway,i am just as quick with the corvette on HSR as i am with the gtr....only the ferrari f430 seems to be a little bit better,probably due to the fact that its a midengined car which gives you the perfect handling for this particular track.....👍

The Z06 has the best sound, the best looks, the most fun to drive, but more importantly, the best PWR. That's why Corvette starts last. I don't mind, unless I get caught out by punters, I often finish towards the pointy end of the field. Catching 1st is rather hard, but winning isn't everything.........

Edit: One more thing, I find the Corvette 3 times easier to drive than the others.

I drive a GT-R in this race and it's always ahead of the F430's which are quicker over the lap but the only Corvette's I see are at the back of the grid and never seen to make any forward progress.

My tests with the three cars would indicate that Corvette is the slowest of the three for me.

I tried it three times and all three times I had no sucess I can win races with my eyes closed with the F430. I wonder why that is? lol

The Vette is strong down the straights, but is garbage in the corners. 👍

I've only done a couple of races on that event, both using the Z06 (only guy using it on those races, btw), and found it a joy to drive. Sure, you're on the edge most of the time, but it's very rewarding and a lot of fun.

It's perfectly possible to have good results with it (read: wins), even starting behind the other guys, as long as it's a clean race and you make no mistakes.

The Corvette is best in my opinion. You may start last but you never see it last in place.

Also while drifting with the corvette can get you a good place too just turn off all aids and its fun.

F430 is the most popular :L

I have driven all three cars in this event and I've got to say the easiest to control is the GT-R. However, the GT-R can be relatively slow on the straights. The F430 will have some oversteer but it mostly controllable and is very competitive on the straights. This is probably why it is seen the most in this event. The Z06 is of course extremely fast on straights, but, while it is not complete garbage in corners, it can be more than a handful to control coming out of corners under power. The car almost has to be completely straight to start really accelerating. It probably could be fastest in the right hands (not mine), but it will defantly take quite a bit of skill and focus to consistently win with it.
