Ok, so what is the difference between leaving the game and ps3 on, no thanks, and saving the game and resuming at a later time?

You can restart from a save many times, you can restart from a pause only once.

If we let save feature in, whats next? Rewind feature? Maybe they will dumb down physics so more casual people will jump in and have a new Need for Speed game... oh god no!

But, on the other hand, there should be both. So make things an Option. Arcade and SIM physics. Rewind features for Arcade mode as well a save feature during 24h race, but once you save, a trophy should be blocked. Maybe even a trophy for the guys who complete whole game in Simulation mode? That will kick ass :)

There everyone would be happy

I'll welcome rewind with open arms.
There already are many levels of physics.
There you go again with the trophy obsession. Seems trophies are the only reason you play games.

You people are aware that this is a game and nothing more, right?

When the hell did games stop being fun and become an extension of your peen?
:odd:

Why you 2 care so much what I like?

Why are you all carrying on about 24 hour races & what features there is or isn't in GT5. Who cares what features there are in it, we've been waiting long enough so Just be glad when it does arrive & just injoy playing it.

Yet another completely pointless post, great work. Perhaps you would find a MySims Racing forum more to your taste.

What else is there to do, we can't play it can we??

Play whatever you want, or watch blu-ray DVD's

I don't care how long GT5 takes to launch either because:

Mafia II and Gran Turismo 5 are two games I've been looking forward to for literally years now. Both are similar in ways such as you only hear bits of info, screens and videos every now and again but, unlike GT5.. Mafia II now has a definite release date for both US and the rest of the world. that being 24th of August 2010 for the USA and 27th of August for the rest of the world. So both games have been in development for quite a while and there's been alot of effort put into both games not just graphically but content and game play wise too.

So I'll be kept busy with Mafia II as of August. That way the wait for GT5 will be less painful.

Edit: Also, I wont have to come on here and complain about it taking so long. ;)

Untill Mod Nation Racers and Red Dead Redemption comes in, I will sit here and be like a stubborn old man! haha

As I am at work both of those options are out - I enjoy talking about GT. I have taken a long break from GTPlanet and now that GT5 is getting closer I have come back to talk some more.

If you want to talk about other games there is a whole section of GTPlanet devoted to that, there might even be one for DVDs. I'm here in the GT5 section talking about GT5 - why is that so strange?

sometimes, movies, other games, and what not does not fill the space like GT5 would. I know because I play GT4 most time then any other game. Heck Even Prologue had about 100hours, not bad for a DEMO! So imagine what GT5 will do!

You can restart from a save many times, you can restart from a pause only once.

And what if when you loaded the save it was deleted, would that be acceptable to all the anti-save people? Plenty of games have used such a system in the past, and it would be trivially easy to implement.

I'm glad you talk about GT, i would too, but the things talked about is not relevant to the thread title.. That's all

A thread is more than its title. Perhaps you should read the first post too

Already been suggested in this thread and ignored by the pro-save people.
