It not long rained where I am in Australia but we would greatly appreciate some more. Despite the rain drops, we are still on water restrictions.

Rain's a pain the arse - I hate running in it, I can't surf because all the garbage runs through the storm water to the beach, it buggers my golf up, and riding a bicycle in Sydney in the wet is dangerous because the roads are oily.

That said, with 95% of NSW in drought, we could do with some.

We don't like it but need it more like it!!!:(

I like rain...it's one of the only times you can drift in an MPV lol(1 time, entering the highway, the back end swong out and my dad drifted down the ramp in a controled drift...me and my bro were laughing but then we had to stop it cause we had to get on the highway ofcourse. Also 323's can do skids in the rain...

Biking is fun when you don't care if you get soaked but otherwise you are darting the puddles(which is fun untill you a. crash or b.are forced into a 6" deep one by a car...) and you still end up soaked most of the time.

The other thing Sydney does (particularly coming into Spring) is when it rains here, it's 'jeez, start building the Ark' rain.

The Saturday of the weekend we moved up here, four and a half years ago, Sydney got over 5 inches of rain - and the rain didn't start until 10 o'clock.

...and people wonder why I insist on ABS...

Yeah, we're at least 9 inches behind in rainfall here in the eastern US. My lawn is dead and my trees are stressed. Luckily we've gotten an inch or two over the last couple days.

The only thing that sucks is I have to get my convertible inspected today before the registration expires, and it leaks like a sieve, and I try to keep it out of the rain so the rust doesn't get any worse.

The only time when rain can be cool is when you have ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do. Thats when you take your car, go behind a retail store (kmart,Albertsons, walmart) and go drifting!

:D
