Around the end of the week i will be at bspec 40 and will buy a new x1 and the colour of my choice, i really can't stand that Blue colour. Anyone else feel the same, wouldn't you rather pick your own colour at lvl 40?

Actually, I'll be content to just get an X1. I kinda like the Red Bull Livery anyways...

I doubt I'll ever have the urge to spend 20'000'000Cr for a different paintjob.

If you pass the vettel challange then you can get up too 3 more.

DS3 user here. So I think Bronze would probably be the onlyy possibility. But I guess I can kiss Silver and Gold goodbye for the time being.

How much do you play racing games, if much then get a wheel it is so worth it mate. It turns a game into a simulator and stops you getting finger cramps.

I don't understand this, I use a DS3 and I'm doing great. It's not as easy as with the wheels but they're not impossible to control.

If it was just the wheel, I'd have one already. But, alas, as far as apartments go, spacious = pricey.

I'll of course have to try this myself, but from what I've read around here, most peopel using a DS3 struggle getting Bronze. I can't even remember someone who actually golded the SV chaallenge with the DS3 ;)

Dear ArthurGT710
Please don't bitch about having an X1.
Sincerely,
Everyone who wants one.

You could just use the wheel when sitting on the sofa like I do that wouldn't need loads of space.

I've gotten all golds on the licenses and special events so far with my DS3 so I don't see why I'd have any more of a problem with the SV challenges beyond the fact that they're innately difficult. If anything it should be easier considering all the buttons are consolidated into one controller instead of having to use your whole body with a wheel, pedals, and stick shift.

I wouldn't be going for a racing seat either way (my girlfriedn would probably kill me right away), but it's the space for the wheelstand that I'm concerned about.

That's the downside of having a kingsize bed in your bedroom (which also serves as the livving room) :D

Ah, too more years and I won't have to worry about stuff like that anymore, anyways 👍

No offense but they probably just plain suck, and they use that as an excuse. I know a friend that says he struggles with the DS3 to get bronze, but he admits it's because he's a n00b.

Getting gold can take you a couple of re-tries, yes but struggling to get bronze is just silly. I never get less than silver in my FIRST attempt.

I'm a DS3 user as well... Not everyone can use a wheel! I sit on my bed playing GT5 in my room... My bed is raised above my desk since I have a "box" room at home (floor space POOR, but its tall).

I agree that it would make the game better, however for my ACTUAL simulator needs I work at a Formula 1 Simulator centre :D Its FAR better than GT5!

Well, if you easily silvered the Sebastian Vettel challemnge with a controller, you might want to give some advise here. Especially if you did it on your first try. Hats of to you, then.

Is that the X1 challenge? I haven't given it a try yet. I've only beaten AMG, top gear, karting and nascar so far.

GT, rally and the others, I'll start as soon as I finish all the A-spec events.

I was talking about the licenses.

edit-

Actually I didn't even unlock it yet lol.

There is no way on earth you will get silver on your first attempt of the X1 challenges.

Maybe not but the point is, you can use the DSG and be just fine.

Damn you all, now I'm really tempted to play a lot but I have projects pending :(

That maybe the case but you really can't judge people until you have experienced it yourself.

I personally have no idea how hard it will be for good Sixaxis/DS3 players as I got my golds with a G25. I am curiously waiting for the first person to do it with a DS3, I do believe it will happen.
