OMG! I'm lovin it!!! GT4 has such awesome physics, everything about it is awesome! :D :D :D I just registered 2 mins ago could'nt help it I had to let this out lol, although I've been reading this forum for the last month awaiting GT4. I like this forum very much and i look forward to further post. I've been playin it sence i brought it home so from 8 pm to 3:30 am is the present time and i plan on playin quiet a while longer WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I couldn't make it to the store yesterday evening. I had the usual "Daddy chores" to do still, then the rain wouldn't let up. You guys should know by now how SoCal people drive in the rain, so the risk wasn't worth it.

I'll go pick it up at 10:00AM which is about five hours away. If I waited nearly four years, I think I can handle five hours.

I have a launch day PS2, so I hope I don't have any problems with loading GT4. Thank god I recently got the DISC READ ERROR problems fixed not long ago. I think I should be alright.

Well, have fun, to those who have it. I plan to join you guys in just a little while.

I'll definitely be getting it after school today! I hope....I did preorder it from best buy, so they better have it!!! Can't wait...tonight will be a GT4 party!
 
After several long hours GameStop come through (8:30 p.m. manager finally arrived from airport) Couldn't play until 10:30 p.m. played 'til 4:00 a.m. Then up at 7:30 a.m. (very tired :indiff: ) to be at work, can't play hooky -DRATS :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:
 
I started looking for it the night of the 21st.....obviously NO ONE had it. Yesterday got out of class at noonish, and went straight to the local EB games. They initially told me 12~2 they would have them in. Of course at 2 they said probably not til 8pm. So I went home and checked another closer location where they said by 7. Around 6:30 they say only pre-orders get their copy, so I called the previous location and they were going to sell to everyone regardless at around 8 when they got it. Sure enough after waiting ALL day and through a short line I GOT IT!!
 
I'm sitting in class right now wishing I was homeplaying GT4, and I won't be home till about 2 when my last class gets over with.

I love colleges with wireless internet though, I can at least screw around on here to past the time. Ya I'm taking notes :D.
 
oh man, got it last night and I almost peed my pants. I have it. I love it. And I will talk to you all much later!
 
Played 5 straight hours last night...from 5pm till 10 pm...and only did a dozen or so races..so much to do and see, I can't imagine ever completing this game, its a monster !How about that intro....DAMN !
 
The endro races will kick my ass hands down! That 24 hour one will be a killer.

Actually, my local Electronics Boutique had it. They picked it up Monday, and about 10 minutes before closing, I bought it with a small bribe to the new guy. 👍
 
:grumpy: I will hopefully will get my game today, Software Etc in Santa Barbara is being difficult. Next time I will be going to EB. Damn Software Etc and their poor service.

Cost: $22.09 ($5 reserve + $26.40 credit for trading in Ratchet and Clank:UYA at 120% normal credit about a month ago during a special trade in period...also traded Halo2 for reserve and credit worth $36.00 towards Doom3 Special Edition with Ultimate Doom and Doom2 fully playable for XBox). Awesome deal!

If you are looking to reserve or purchase any new game, just remember, Gamestop/Funcoland/Software Etc. have been #1 in reserves for years, and they ALWAYS get their shipments FIRST.

And, yes, I used to work there.
