Hehe indeed. :D

I also like to use the Tuscan Speed 6. Drives very nice too.

Don't confuse it with the Tuscan speed 12 though, that car sux bigtime.

Made in Holland,

lol man - those are fighting words - I've seen a ton of Speed 12 fans.

I myself find it very heavy, but I also am very weak in the tuning department.

But, you can't beat the paint jobs on either the Speed 6 or 12

Hello...

Sorry, the best Car's You can only win !!!
The best Car's You can win are :

Mazda 787b Is good for Cote d' Azur
Ford GT 40 Race Car drive verry realistic !

The Calsonic Skyline JGTC (J) it's a good Car too.

The F1 Racer's are verry fast, but makes no fun to drive !
You win easy every Race !

The best Car to win a F1 Racer, is the Viper .
But many Car's are verry good on a specific Raceway.

Best wishes
Werner

What are u talking about... well, it is a letdown, but it doesnt sux. Put it like in these words. The Speed 12 cant compete against LM or Road cars. The first time I saw and read the info about that car, i couldnt believe the Speed 12 was made exclusively for racing only!

And about winning the BIG cars, it depends basically on what u need and what point of the game u are.

Forget that crap about the 787b. The Toyota GT-1 Roadcar and the Nissan GTR-LM can get u to the top. :)

Oh, I forgot, if u want a rally car, u already have one, if u have finished some races (I dont remember the race where u get the EVo IV rally car.) in Amateur and Pro. Or u can get the rally license and finish the last two races of Rally Mode, u dont need a rally car to race them..SS5 wet if I can remember. :)

The Corvette CR5 is a great purchase for sure. You can mod it to 1000hp or so and the thing handles great. Oppp's , not sure if ya meant "road car" in the technical sence. The vette's a race car. The Ruf RGT is a damn fine road car.

the speed 12 sux, sorry guyz ,but hey its just MY opinion.......

it ugly as **** with those wheels too tiny for the fenders...

Tercel Driver, the Speed 12 wasn't made exclusively for racing. The idea TVR had was a 'track-day' capable car that could be used on the road. But they did too good a job and the 12 was too much of a beast for road use, so they raced it up. I watched a pair of them at Oulton Park during last years Power Tour season and they gave the GTS-R Viper and the Lister Storm a right run for their money. One of them was in the lead (pulling away too) until Tim Harvey in the Viper pressured a Ferrari into over-cooking it and caused a race caution for a couple of laps. The 12 overheated from going so slowly and didn't perform well for the rest of the race (came 3rd I seem to remember)!

Anyhow, my point is that the car featured in GT3 isn't a properly race specced 12 (hence no race body and lousy low end acceleration) so I reckon Polyphony developed the game with the original road car concept and didn't have time to change it before GT3 was released. But, properly set-up and handled it will beat LM and Road cars no problem. I just wish they'd put the real world GT car in the game - still, they did a good job on the Tuscan so I shouldn't moan!

F1 cars just take the fun away , you can beat almost all the races with it , and i think it shouldn't be allowed anywhere outside the F1 cup...

i was going to enter the super speedway endurance race and was wondering what car would be best for the rubberband trick
i think it was the escudo

Yeah i agree about the f1 car thing....after getting the F1 car i didn't play gt3 for a few months it was so boring. going back to a normal car made it feel really ****ty. after that, i deleted my save game, bought the logitech driving force wheel, and have prevented myself from winning an f1 car. In my opinion, the toyota gt1 roadcar. great amount of horsepower, and handles so precisely and smoothly. even better with a wheel too.

Yes, GT-One Road Car is awesome for a road car. The Speed 6 didn't handle too great for me, but I still won with it. I don't have a Speed 12, I actually avoided winning that one so far. I will go back and get it eventually....

Don't spoil the whole game with your F1!! I see lots of people suggesting the RUF, give that a shot.... I don't know from personal experience though.

Rubberband trick....

Somebody said the CR5 Corvette was a good purchase. Please remember rule 1. Cars won are sweeter than cars bought. With rule 1 in mind. Go directly to the American cup races in Amatuer. and run it till you win one:D Plus you may be able to find some use for the credits you win. Especially, if you have to do the cup more than once or twice.
If you are impatient run and win the first four races. Save at the end of race 4. Start the fifth race and then exit. You will have enough points to take the series. If you are lucky you will win the Vette. If not push the reset button and try it again. If you are quick on the thumb and can recognize the silhouette of the Vette push the X button when the circle of light is under the car you desire. You only have a 1/2 second window to do this in. It is not easy but it does work.

Well, the Corvette C5R isn't won from the Amateur League American Cup. That is the Camaro Race Car you are thinking about. You can win that C5R from the Super Speedway Endurance, or for 50% completion of the game. But I am thinking you could buy it, too.

I drove it, and I liked it, maybe you will, too! :burnout:

If you're looking for a road car other than the racing cars, I'd choose the Mustang SVT! Not everyones choice, but it can be tuned to over 700 hp, and handles really well, and very adaptable to your driving style. When it starts oversteering its very gentle and not too hard to correct, but tweak the settings and add some racing tyres and it handles much better, and is great fun to drive. As far as racing cars go, any of the Skyline's are pretty cool in my opinion.

The best car you get to buy IMHO is the Castrol Toms Supra. On the other hand you can get the CXastrol Mugen NSX too... Somehow to my taste, the JGTC are better than American muscle. The CR5 does not handle as well...
