Well I just got the full treatment.
After getting over FCTaff's games room, I finally got my mitts on an Elite.
In a game pod.
With Buttkickers.
And Triple screens.
I was like a kid in a sweet shop. Can I have Forza, nekcar ( us that how you say it ) pro too. How about Iracing for desert.
I've only read about these things guys but getting seat time was heaven for me with my own third world single screen setup.
My host was excellent too. Allowing me to adjust onboard settings etc.
There's not a lot too say about the Elite that not already been said.
I will chime in about the rim though as that's the hot debate.
FF was set to Max and I likened it to a real world go kart in terms of brute force.
I personally wouldn't run at that strength but the rim felt very solid whilst conveying Smooth, silent ( as far as I can tell with buttkickers rattling my teeth lol ) force feedback.
I couldn't feel flex at all. I'm not saying its not there, I just couldn't find it.
Didn't have any sharp edges either at least on the model I used.
Iracing was my surprise highlight. Literally.
After around 6 laps of a circuit and getting a bit cocky I suppose. I came over the brow of a hill at a different angle and nearly lost it. Each lap feeling different to the last due to my inconsistent lines.
That's about it from me. I was just itching to get a hands on with the wheel.
The triple screen, buttkickers,game pod and great games was just an extra surprise. Couldn't tell you the sound setup other than it sounded great.
