Haven't driven one, but I've been in one while it was driven HARD, and I can tell you that it's a great transmission with very quick shifting even in manual mode. Oh and the sound it makes... That said M3>IS-F but you gotta love the lex for being the first F series car

Two or three favorites.

Toyota 2000GT and the Datsun 240Z... big parallel here with the Lexus LF-A and the Nissan GT-R.

Toyota's 2000GT showed the world the technical prowess of the Japanese, and showed them that Japan was truly capable of making a great sports car.

The Nissan 240Z showed them that Japan could not only make a great sports car... they could make it cheap.

The 240Z is what put Datsun/Nissan on the map as a premier automaker on the international stage.

I also have a soft spot in my heart for the Fairlady 2000:

Simply because I think it looks neat...

And the Datto 510:

Arguably one of the first "tuner" cars from Japan, ever... with the wide interchangeability of parts across the Datsun range, and the popularity of the 510 in motorsports, it became a cult hit.

If I had to pick modern cars:

Because it's a three-wheeling, lift-off oversteering, five-door homage to the classic hot hatch. Tiny car, tiny engine, big grins.

And this:

Because even if the steering is garbage, it's almost just as fun, it's more fuel efficient than a bicycle, and you can fit your house in the back seat.

How long have you driven an 8 speed?

How many fuel tanks have you refilled?

How much money would've been saved with 2-3 extra mpg?

How many laps have you driven on a track?

How many of those laps were in a 6 speed?

How many of those laps were in a 8 speed?

Most of those questions aren't even necessary. Heck, I asked 8 but I could've easily gotten by with 6. Some would even call it more concise and easier to manage.
