Wow, there are a wide variety of cars I could think of... A top-five list sounds good...

1. 1992 Honda NSX-R: Still a benchmark, even today. Amazing design and execution by the engineers at Honda. I'm ashamed that I didn't respect the car for so long
2. ST204 Toyota Celica: I'd say its the best-looking Celica, and despite its hardware (in the US anyway), it was still a great drivers car. That's why I own one...
3. B13 Nissan Sentra: We've had three in my family, incredibly fun to thrash around, even without the SE-R trim
4. BD Subaru Legacy: I just love the look and sound of these cars, still some of the best sedans Japan ever built
5. XV10 Toyota Camry: The old warhorse. Doesn't matter if it is a coupe or sedan, it is still awesome. I have too many fond memories in one of these to hate it

I love a plethora of JDMs, like the Nissan Z, the Honda NSX, the Skylines, the Lancers, the Rotaries (Mazda), the Supra, and so forth. I also fancy older models like the Datsun 240Z or the Nissan 2000. In the modern world, I prefer Skylines a bit more for their monster capabilities.

So, if I guess that you're writing an article on the Mazda RX-8, and say that's my favourite, that proves your point? But if you're doing it on a Toyota Supra, and I say Mazda RX-8, I've wasted your time?

I do love the RX-8, yeah it's gotta be that.

Nissan GTR is my favorite purely because it blows supercars brands out of the water and has a good balance between brute force and control..
