I am writing an article about the popularity of a certain car, from Japan. One part is about the popularity, so I need your completely honest choice of your favorite Japanese car.

Thanks!

Probably..

It's a toss-up. Let's say for performance-wise, the Honda NSX.

In terms of world popularity though, Corolla and Civic sales figures will take the cake over anything by a long shot.

As i bought one I need to say Nissan Skyline GTR 33

List of preference:
Skyline Gtr 33
LFA (well out of reach)
Supra mkIII
NSX
GTR
Skyline GTR34
Rx7
Skyline Gtr 32
Silvia
Evos
Impreza's
Gt86
....

1986 Toyota Supra Turbo. That engine just has a feel to it that I've never quite experienced. The NA has the same feel. It's so urgent in everything it does. Tuning and boosting only make it better as well.

I love Miatas but I'm going to skip it and say Mazda RX7.

The Lancer Evo cast obviously. All of them are great obviously, though the X, VIII and IV are my personal top 3.

Daihatsu Midget II (I am being serious), Toyota Supra MKIV RZ, Suzuki Cappuccino, Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4, Nissan Stagea RS, Toyota Trueno AE86, and Honda NSX. There's too many to list. X_X

Nissan Skyline GT-R, although the RX-7 is a close 2nd.

Inbeforea90'scar.

Oh shoot! Everyone's doing it!

Just about everyone's going to name a pre-2000 model, including myself.

Subaru Impreza GC.

Nissan GTR is my favorite purely because it blows supercars brands out of the water and has a good balance between brute force and control..

Honorable mentions are the
Toyota Supra mk4
Honda Civic Type R (Just the EK and EP not the fat bastard latest version)
Nissan Skyline R32 GTR

Toyota Starlet KP60 bugeye, or AW11 MR2.. A60 Celica as well.. Subaru XT.. Civic EE hatch..
